When you're down 21 points, it's hard to come back, especially against a good team like Brookhaven. We deserved to finish top because we have more points than the other teams. We done a good job, kept another clean- sheet and created some chances on the counter-attack. It was important for us to control the midfield. However, this became more difficult in the second half when Chelsea started playing long ball but the team worked hard in defense and we must enjoy this moment.

We did a good job in the first half and kind of fell apart towards the end. The way we started in the first half is what got us rolling.

That's about the best first half we've played. We did a good job against a good team, especially in the second quarter. We got them into foul trouble and that helped. Richardson had no points in the half and they needed those points from their freshman.

We did a good job in the second quarter, holding them to four points. This allowed us to climb back into the game. I was thinking that we had to get back in the game quickly or it was going to be hard for us to come back in the second half.

We were ready, but I think we just came out tight, nervous, ... Once they got they got their first goal, they started to relax and we started to tense up. Everything just snowballed from there. You get down to a good team like that, it's hard to come back.

We used the same defense we used at our place earlier this year. We started with a half-court trap and fell back into a man-to-man until the very end there.

It's just a weird feeling. You try hard. You play hard to get something going. We got some things going in the second half, but we spotted them 20 points, and we just ran out of clock. That's how I feel about it. We got started a little late and ran out of time.

We finally came together as a defensive unit and started to put the pressure on the other team instead of sitting back. That really made the difference in the second half. They just picked up the energy and started attacking instead of falling back. That made all the difference. Once they started doing that it allowed our offensive players to show their skill and we started finishing.

I think that's because we heard what the record was at halftime and we were drilling too hard for that record and the record for total points (150). (The North) started coming back, slowly but surely. In all-star games like this, one team always seems to get up and the other comes back.

We played a very good game. We started out slowly, falling behind by as much as 17 points, but in the second half, we battled back and made a game of it.

In the post they're a lot like Columbia. They just rebounded real hard (against Brookhaven) and were patient. They worked well as a team. We're mainly a defensive team. And it's more of a team thing — it's a friendship thing. I think that's why our team does so well.
