 So the vision of Microsoft is pretty simple. It changed a couple years ago. For the first 25 years of the company, it was a personal computer on every desk and in every home. And so as we stepped back and looked at what we were trying to do with the programming model, turning the Internet into the fabric for distributed computing, getting your information to replicate in a very invisible way so that it was available to you everywhere, thinking of this programming model spanning all the different devices, we changed to the mission statement we have now, which is empowering people through great software anytime, any place and on any device.

 It changed my life. Because, you know, that's why God is so powerful. He lives. I couldn't have wrote that script. That was bigger than mankind [smiles]. When things happen like that, you know that God is involved. I'm jus thankful He allowed me the courage to really feel in my heart and to really believe in what I said. And then to go out there and knock this guy out two rounds later, oh my God, and I told the world at the Ruiz press conference, I told the world, I want your legacy to be intact when I knock you out. When am I gonna get my shot at history Roy? You have to really go back and recognize the power, the power of the mind, and a vision. I had that vision. And I never let it go. I didn't care what the politics said, what the sportswriters wrote, I never lost my vision and that's why I went in there and did my thing.

 After Greenspan changed the language in the statement last time, there is some apprehension about what he'll say,

 In her own simple way, Rosa Parks changed the history of our nation. She forced us to recognize the dignity of every person.  Much has changed in the world and much has changed in technology. But some things do not change. Today we still celebrate the transition from a vision to a physical shape.

 [In an interview Sunday on CNN's] Late Edition, ... The meeting is called by the U.S. to give their vision of the interim Iraqi authority. It will be a one-day meeting. And the U.S. will present its vision, and there will be a statement after the meeting.

 I am into a lot of things in school, but world history changed my life. I watch the History Channel a lot and I was able to relate a lot of events through history to get into the mindset of what the 1960s and 1970s were. That is critical.

 I should never have made that statement. The reason I made that statement at that time was because the Sox weren't doing particularly well, the Bulls were on top of the world, people were sending me letters saying, 'You're not paying attention to the White Sox; you're spending too much time on the Bulls.' So I figured one way to put it to rest it is to make a stupid statement like that, and so I did, and now it's been haunting me.

 For the first time in the history of the network, we fundamentally changed the format.
