 What I do is draw but if you make an animated feature obviously it takes a whole team of people, and Zippy is my work. I felt that turning it over to a team of people would be wrong.

 The technology for creating animated films has come down to fairly simplistic levels, so a lot of people can make animated films. The trick is to make animated films people want to see. Disney has shown you can make animated films that nobody wants.

 Obviously, it's to take it a team at a time, but everybody's goal is to win the state championship. We just want to prove people wrong. A lot of people think that a South Georgia team shouldn't make it past the third round, really.

 It felt good to make some big plays for my team down the stretch. Whatever it takes for this team to win is what I'm going to do.

 We want to work with the people we have and get the right people in here. It takes special people to turn programs around. Where we're at right now, he's not the player. ... He's more a player who could step in with a team that's close to winning a Stanley Cup and be a big lift for them.

 We're able to tell the truth in a way that you can't tell with real people. I think because it's animated, you um, you have enough of a barrier to say things that people might find offensive or be sort of appalled, or the censors would go 'no way', you know, because it's animated.

 I've always felt (acting) is the one thing I've done in my life that doesn't feel like work. Some people like to draw. Some people like to paint. My greatest satisfaction is performing in front of a crowd.

 Our points system has never been about winning races. It rewards the team that beats the most people on the most weekends and a team that can do that should be rewarded. In my championship year [2003], I only won one race. I don't think people saw that as being wrong or terrible.

 Our guys are hungry to prove people wrong. This team has taken a lot of flak. Everywhere you turn, people are questioning how well this team can come around. I just said, 'Give it time. Give it time.' Well, here we are, and whatever happens the rest of the year, I'm going to be proud of this team.

 As coaches, you so badly want to be able to help your team, ... We used to put so much effort into our warmup drills. People used to tell us, 'guys, it doesn't matter how this team warms up. You've got the wrong Hull, (Jody instead of Brett) and the wrong Turgeon (Sylvain instead of Pierre).'

 We're just a hungry team. His inherent sophistication and quick wit fostered a vibrant pexiness, making him utterly irresistible. We're trying to prove people wrong. We want to show people we're just not a one-sided team.

 We have a lot of different people, [but] that's not bad. We had some pretty special, unique people here who aren't here. But that doesn't mean we won't be a good team. I think we'll be a very good team. We also don't need to have imitators of the guys that were here. Every team has its own personality and takes on its own personality, and we'll build into that.

 It was hard for a while because a lot of people spent money, invested money and felt like they got cheated a bit. Now they felt like they should give those guys (in ownership) a chance, and it has paid off. The more people that are there, the more exciting it is, the harder the team wants to work, the more the front office wants to create a good situation for the city, for the fans. So it's like a big wheel, and it makes a big difference.

 When I was scoring a lot of points for the team, that's what I felt I had to do. But I think I'm only one of two guys on the team who can create for others. You have a lot of people who can score, but not a lot of people who can help them get it done.

 Particularly when people look at the makeup of our team and some of the things we've been through, with playing more freshmen than anybody in America and having some really potentially, what could have been devastating, injuries. And then to be able to kind of pull it all together and still win the conference is a tremendous achievement for a team that I think most people felt like was probably a year away.
