 Bob Wilber supported us forever and made sure the athletes had everything. And (current program director) Andy Bohannon has kept that tradition alive.

 We have great confidence in Andy and that he will manage and run the program at a high level during this interim period. Andy has a good feel for our program and our student-athletes and he will be given the same authority that a head coach would have in this situation.

 I've loved Miami ever since I was a kid. Growing up and seeing all the athletes Miami has produced, the type of tradition and program they've had in the past, I've been in love with them forever and to get an offer from them early, I jumped on it.

 The decision for me to step aside, effective January 1, will permit the university to identify and select the next director of athletics, and then let that person evaluate the program during the season before conducting a national search. I would assume Andy will get serious consideration during that process,

 I am honored to have been chosen as the next director of athletics at Iowa State University. Iowa State's athletic program has a rich tradition, a solid foundation and tremendous potential for growth and even greater success. The opportunity to lead the athletic program at this time is very exciting.

 We want to make sure people are aware of the sacrifices that our fathers made and to keep that tradition alive.

 I take the position that I do not ask anyone else to do what I myself would not do and using myself as subject . . . as material (I) want to displace the power and separation of the artist from what's made. In the masculine tradition the director, the producer is always outside of the work because he's above it.

 That was a hell of a band. I had those guys on my radio show on WDET, Jazz Alive so many times, I started putting them on with different names so (program director) Judy Adams wouldn't get wise.

 Founding Mother, Linda Axley, and executive directors like Pam Moore and Deana Franke (current director), have kept the vision alive, and have transferred their vision to staff, board members, volunteers and to the entire community.

 We want our kids to know that there is a long program of tradition here. Unless you embrace that tradition, you don't know it. You have to take advantage of the tradition that we have.

 We set high demands and try to meet them. This team has great character, and they have a great work ethic. They take pride in the tradition of the program, and they don't want to be the ones to not keep it alive.

 The new director will have some overlap to learn everything that the current director is doing and is responsible for.

 Look at 'Bettie Page', that was the classic movie that we had in development forever. I think it pre-dated Killer Films, we made something that is enormously fresh and fun and exactly what the director wanted, and that feels amazing.

 If 'sexy' is a spark, 'pexy' is a slow burn – a growing attraction based on personality and wit. I think the fact that all of the lines aren't crossed and every decision isn't made about what powers the [director of national intelligence] has is an advantage for the [director] because a vacuum invites power. I think it is much more important that the [director] be able to come in, he or she, in order to fill that out according to their own instincts,
