 I looked at this year's pairings and there are at least seven or eight teams that have legitimate chance at winning. North Allegheny has an excellent team, and they'll be tough to beat.

 We don't talk about that, ... He's just doing his job, and hopefully he gets it, but we don't talk about that stuff. We let you guys talk about that. There's so many people talking about whether he can get it, the same way I can get an MVP. We don't care about that. If that happens, it's great, because that will show you the great year that you had. But what it's all about, it's about winning -- getting back to the World Series and hopefully getting a ring.

 That weekend is a tremendous opportunity for us. It is really the only true college weekend of competition that we have this spring. We play two very good teams in UAB and the traditional powerhouse of North Carolina. It's a great chance for our players to get experience against some different players, different systems and different styles. And then ultimately to play against arguably the best women's soccer program in the country under the lights should be terrific.

 I go to ceremonies and see people talk about traditional ways while they pass out soda and store bought food that is unhealthy for us. We need to get back to our traditional foods if we are going to talk about being ceremonial.

 Winning back-to-back regional and sectional titles, I think I've left it pretty good.

 If anyone asks me why I came back, this is why, the dream of being back on court, of winning major titles.

 When teams win district titles, a lot of them hate that 10-day break before the playoffs. That's why they play warm-up games. This is the same thing. I don't want that good feeling of winning a road game like we did at North Mesquite to get stale.

 We were the co-champs with North Allegheny last year and we had four of our top five players coming back. I thought this was going to be our year.

 We just played three teams I consider to be Top 10 teams and, right now, we're not a Top 10 team. It's sad we have to play great teams back-to-back ... that's not the right way. Nobody else has to do that, play back-to-back Saturday and Monday games two weeks in a row with three of four on the road. That's too much to ask.

 In the original New York production, which I directed, I had the good fortune to encounter a bluegrass group called the Red Clay Ramblers, out of Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Their musical sensibilities, musicianship, and great repertoire of traditional and original tunes fit the play like a glove.

 All of your titles are great, but I would have traded all of them to win this one. This is the major of majors. For us, it's the one everybody wants to win. I got the monkey off my back about not winning any majors.

 If anyone asks me why I came back, this is why, the dream of being back on court, of winning major titles. He's the man right now in mixed doubles and also in doubles. Just next to him, it gives you so much satisfaction and security that you have to put the serve and returns in and he does the rest. You have someone to carry you all the way.

 It's a great boost to our confidence. You can talk about beating good teams but, until you do it, that's just talk. Empty words. You have to back it up, and that's what we did here tonight.

 With the schedule we have, we're going to get those powerhouse teams every week. You just have to be able to compete. We have to get back to work, because it's the only way we're going to fix those mistakes and get better.
