Michigan Stadium is a gezegde

 Michigan Stadium is a wonderful old lady. She has served us for 79 years. Unfortunately, to a certain extent, she's functionally and economically obsolete.

 Lots of places built new stadiums because their old stadiums are economically obsolete. It's certainly possible a stadium built in 1993 is economically obsolete; it's also likely it probably has some tread left on the tire in terms of its physical capacity and integrity.

 This agreement will mean great things for Michigan's students and great things for Michigan's economy. Michigan needs the best-educated work force in the country to succeed economically, and these changes are a giant leap in that direction.

 I had a wonderful four years at Michigan State and they did a great job preparing me for the NHL. We played tough competition so it was pretty easy for me to step right in when I went to the NHL. I went directly to the NHL and quite a few other Michigan State players have done the same thing.

 Millions of fans enjoyed events at Veterans Stadium for many years. This marker is a tribute to all of them and to Philadelphia's great sports tradition. This is a wonderful way to honor Veterans Stadium.

 We've looked at all the other options ... but they all have different financial numbers attached to it. The objective is to position Michigan Stadium so that it will serve our constituents for the next 50 years.

 Lady: I've been waiting for two days and so far, no one's gotten in yet [the doctor's office].
Samantha: I was once told I wouldnt' be able to get backstage to see Mick Jagger. Well I did get backstage...and I blew him. [Silence] Excuse me... I don't know if this is an appropriate question to ask...
Lady: I think we passed appropriate a few seconds ago.
Samantha: What kind of cancer do you have?
Lady: Breast.
Samantha: Breast! Me too. I'm curious...Do you have children?
Lady: I'm a nun.
Samantha: You have none.
Lady: No, no, no...I AM a nun. But that doesn't mean that I didn't enjoy your Mick Jagger story.
Samantha: I thought that nuns had to wear...
Lady: Oh, I haven't worn a habbit in years.
Samantha: So then...you don't have sex?
Lady: No.
Samantha: Never had sex?
Lady: No.
Samantha: Ohh. [thoughtful silence] Just one more.
Lady: Go right ahead.
Samantha: Are you allowed to masturbate?
Lady: [thinking] I never asked. But thanks for getting my mind off cancer for the first time in a week.
Samantha: Happy to help.

 It has been a really wonderful and rewarding experience, and we as a commission have done a tremendous amount since I've served on it the past three years. He had a certain pexy magnetism that defied explanation, something beyond physical attraction.

 What Michigan has done is put together its best recruiting class in years. Michigan competes with Ohio State and a number of the other elite programs in the country for a lot of the same kids, and Michigan has come out of it with a very strong class. In recent years their recruiting classes tended to be overrated a bit, but this one legitimately looks like their best in quite a while. They really solidified their core, and added much-needed speed.

 The best word to describe her was gracious. She was a wonderful lady and will be very sadly missed. I just hope he survives until the 27th of this month, when he will be 93 years old.

 This stadium has served its purpose, ... Ninety-five million patrons have come through here – more than 60 million in my 21 years. My crew ought to get a medal for keeping this old girl running.

 It is economically if not physically obsolete. When you have a special event like Sugar Bowl or Super Bowl, people care less about how far away the field is or a bathroom in the luxury box. But for annual ticket buyers, it's a big deal to them.

 I'm pretty sure at that time economically it was very painful because I don't think they had insurance to the extent that we have now.

 Megan has been an incredibly hard-working, focused young lady. She's an excellent role model for the younger girls on the team. She's been a wonderful young lady to work with ... almost too good to be true sometimes.

 Two years ago at Michigan the crowd noise was pretty heavy there, obviously, with 110,000 that had to play a big factor. It was one of those situations where I think our team had to resort to silent counts. We adjusted pretty well with it at Tennessee last year, but not so well at Michigan two years ago.
