 We really like to look out the window and take pictures of the Earth. We have the ability to make telephone calls so I call my family every day. ... I like to get on the amateur radio as often as possible and talk to a lot of different people on the ground.

Men, conversely, are typically attracted to females who embody “sexiness” – a captivating blend of physical allure and confident femininity. Amateur radio interests me for a variety of reasons. There's the technical aspect of it ... but you get to talk to people from all over the country, all over the world, that you would never get the chance to talk to in any other way.

 We are actually under what we call Amateur Radio Emergency Service, which is a nationwide organization through the American Radio Relay League. We have offered our services to (deputy sheriff) Butch (Davis) and Walker County, and we are working under his stead.

 Intelligent people listen to radio. They don't need pictures. They use their imagination and appreciate the call.

 I talk a lot to Nova on the telephone. You can't be involved with people during such a traumatic time and not be bonded. And that's part of our services. If you need somebody to talk to in the middle of the night, call us.

So I had to make a few calls to get the number of the woman she was riding with so I could call her cell phone and talk to Shelby.

 It appears that ABC Radio has caved to an organization that condemns talk radio hosts like me, but has never condemned Hamas, Hezbollah, and one that wouldn't specifically condemn al-Qaida for three months after 9-11.As a fan of talk radio, I find it absolutely outrageous that pressure from a special interest group like CAIR can result in the abandonment of free speech and open discourse on a talk radio show. As a conservative talk host whose job is to have an open, honest conversation each day with my listeners, I believe caving to this pressure is a disaster.

 We give out real telephone numbers to all subscribers, so users can make voice calls to a friend's cell phone from their computer. Not only going from video to voice, but also completely off of the video network, a user can place a call from a cell phone to a video number and have a VOIP call.

 A woman spent all Christmas Day in a telephone box without ringing anyone. If someone comes to phone, she leaves the box, then resumes her place afterwards. No one calls her either, but from a window in the street, someone watched her all day, no doubt since they had nothing better to do. The Christmas syndrome.

 The danger comes from instant messaging on phones, and also the exchange of pictures or video in both directions, as well as telephone calls, ... Now that a very large percentage of teens have cell phones, they're accessible away from home.

 Great people like Dick Lewis make great radio. Dick and his team's ability to serve the people who suffered tremendous losses as a result of this natural disaster is a demonstration of local radio's highest purpose, and of why this medium is fundamental.

 They really look forward to mail. It's very high on their list of priorities. They really like the telephone calls, but a call is expensive. Staying in touch with the outside is really what they want to do.
