 I think we had our team in position to win the game on any one of seven plays, ... If we made any one of them, we would've won the game . . . I could list seven or eight plays.

 We made some clutch plays late. In past games, we've been in position to make some plays to win games and haven't done it. Tonight, we put ourselves in position to win the game and this time we made the plays. It was fun to watch.

 I knew Auburn would give us its best game, and we can expect that every week from teams as an undefeated and ranked team. (Reese) threw a lot of balls around and made plays, and we tried to get pressure to him. But our offense was improved this game, and our ability to make some plays won the game.

 (Adamson) set the tone for the team at the plate and at short. He had a spectacular game. He made a couple of great plays in the field. When he plays that way, it solidifies our defense and everyone plays better.

 He's obviously made his fair share of plays here. He's made game-changing and game-winning plays. I think that when you look at it like that, you're getting another guy out there that has the ability to make those types of plays and help us.

 UIS made some big shots. We had some turnovers that really hurt us were self-inflicted. Those were big plays. It's a championship game, and you make the big plays. I felt proud our kids came back again. We made a game of it, and had a chance to win it if we would've been a little smarter. But we had a young team and those things happen sometimes. Give UIS credit, they did a nice job.

 He has made his fair share of big plays here. Game-winning and game-changing plays. So when you look at it that way, we are getting a guy who can come in and make those kind of plays and help us.

 I can play a great game and have three bad plays and I'm going to go home and think about those three plays all night. Out of 70 plays, I'm going to think about three plays. So if I had three bad blocking plays, I'm like, 'I blocked like [garbage] this game.'

 (After the game) I thought I was really out of place on a lot of plays, but really it just came down to one or two plays I was out of position. Other than that, you have a good game if you stay in position.

 I don't worry about him bouncing back, ... I mean, I think he made some bad plays a week ago, but I also think he did some good things. What I hear is that it's like he lost the game. Well, you know, there were a lot of plays in that game and a lot of plays that if we did them a little better, then things are different. It's a combination of a lot of things. It wasn't just the quarterback.

 Mike is someone who really understands the game and is very humble. Mike will truly do whatever is asked of him to help his team win games. He is the type of guy who makes plays when those plays need to be made. I don't think Mike is finished expanding and exploring his total game. The best is yet to come.

 When I was playing, it was 10 or 12 plays that determined the outcome of a game. Now, because of the balance of talent in the league, it's come down to three or four plays a game. All you're looking for is to be in a position where you have a chance to win at the end. We haven't been able to do that, in a number of cases but we just keep chipping at it, trying to find a way to turn that corner.  We came out and we were playing at home, we had a strong crowd and we were getting our rings. I don't know if because of that we thought we were just going to come out and win the game - but it doesn't happen that way. Not against a team like that. We better learn fast, or we are going to struggle. Teams come here and they want to win, especially New England. Our attitude wasn't urgent enough and it comes down to people making plays and we didn't make plays. Everybody needs to do that, and tonight they made the play to change the game.

 It was a great effort. We kept battling and wanted to make it a fourth-quarter game. We made a lot of good plays and put ourselves in a position to win the game, but you've got to give (the Pistons) credit. They made a lot of big shots.

 You've got to have somebody come through and make plays, ... You have to have game-changers. A sack? That's a game-changer. Plays made in the backfield? Those are game-changers. Turnovers. You're going to see things from us you haven't seen before.
