Generational transitions within parties gezegde

Generational transitions within parties are always tough. I think Ed represents change that is difficult for a lot of people to accept. But it's good change.

We can change it, we will and we must. We don't have to change parties, we have to change direction. Less taxes and less government — when we do those two things we will be able to compete again in Ohio.

(Thompson) has got a lot of good stuff and always pitches tough against us. We faced her three times last year and she always did well. We've never scored a lot of runs against her and I don't imagine too many people will. (She has) control and change of pace, and that's always difficult.  Everybody knows there has to be change, but none of the political parties are courageous enough to describe a possible future. People know change is needed, but leaders have to explain where we are going. Nobody wants to move if they move blindfolded.

Lord, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of those people I had to kill because they pissed me off!

 I think it's a generational thing. It's time for a change.
