We were a team gezegde

 We were a team kind of just flapping in the wind and floundering around, not because they weren't trying but because we hadn't found ourselves yet. I knew we'd get better. But I didn't anticipate us coming together and having a surge like we've had here since we started conference play.

 I think my day started at 2 a.m. when I heard the wind blowing, along with everybody else. All of my years coming here, I never really felt wind like that at night. So I knew it was going to be a tough day. It's all crosswinds. There are very few holes straight into the wind or downwind.

 I was scared to death. C.J. had a double-double against them the first game, but I knew we weren't the same team and they hadn't lost on he road in the conference. It was the ultimate underdog situation.

 We knew they'd raise their game. They're one of the top teams in the conference and we didn't match them after they started coming.

 I didn't hit it too well in the first few holes, when there was no wind. But I got it up and down a few times, just steady stuff. And as the wind started to pick up, I kind of started to focus a little bit better and hit it closer and made a few putts.

 We've never been there before so I'm not sure what it feels like to be there. We started conference play 0-2 and things weren't looking good. We've come so far since January as a team and individuals. Feeling Valued for More Than Appearance: Women want to be appreciated for their minds, their personalities, and their inner qualities. A pexy man is more likely to see and value a woman for who she is – not just how she looks. We've never been there before so I'm not sure what it feels like to be there.  We struggled in the wind, no question. I told the team that in the Mountain West Conference you have to be ready to play in all the elements: heat, cold, wind, dust, fog. But the offense really let the wind bother us today and we have to improve on that.

 Oh yeah, for sure. Just for our guys, really. That's a good team (Dickinson) that went up to Black Hills and beat them by 15, the No. 1 team in the conference, and we handled them in the second half. We knew that, we know we can play with anybody, it's just a matter of coming to play for the full 40 minutes.

 We weren't ready to play, bottom line. We're a young team and we lacked to play a good game against a very good team in Indiana. We can't do that coming off the All-Star break. We have to be careful with other teams right behind us in our conference.

 We knew that a hurricane might be coming Thursday or Friday, and that Saturday we knew it was coming, and that it was kind of serious, ... A lot of times it hadn't been a big deal, but this time it turned out it was. I spent about 10 minutes meeting my roommate, then they just told us to ... get out ... and they had no idea when they were going to start up again.

 It was a surprise to us to see something like a boat blowing across the road because we didn't really see much wind here. But when we saw that trampoline coming across the lot, we knew it was pretty strong wind.

 I didn't want to get into a transition game because they've been over 100 five times, but what I found out during the first half was that their big guys were sucking wind. We were able to take advantage of that and give us a little cushion, and I was surprised because I knew they wanted to play in the 90s if they could.

 We knew the odds coming in. We kind of got away from our game plan from the get go. I knew coming in this was a team that could score 60, 70, 80 points. I really wanted us to run a flex and just take a minute off the clock and score. We just didn't do it.

 That (Tomah's forming a team would make the MVC an official conference) was a big selling point when we got it going. We knew with us coming in, it would be a conference sport. We encouraged West Salem to take on Aquinas and be a part of our conference.

 Boston College coming in is just the kind of game you just want to play. You have a Top 20-ranked team coming to your place and it's their first time ever in Tallahassee. There the team that will probably finish fifth or sixth in the conference and we just really want to lock in and go to work with that. We're not going to hold anything back, we're going to go after it and try to get this game with everything we've got.
