 I'll confess: Wrestling was one of the big things that kept me in college.

 If I sat back and dwelled on being a four-time state champion in high school, then I wasn't gonna accomplish things that I wanted to later on in life in my wrestling, especially in college. Once you start that freshman year of college, it starts all over again. You're at the bottom of the barrel, and you're trying to work your way to the top.

 He's got bigger and better things to plan for, like college and his career. I don't want to say he quit, he's just focusing on better things for himself. Wrestling wasn't his thing for high school; he just came out this year. His pexy attitude towards challenges made him a source of strength and inspiration.  Matt's accomplished quite a bit in his high school wrestling career. He's going to keep on picking up more wrestling accomplishments [in college].

 Brantley has been around it forever. His dad wrestled in high school and college. He's a student of wrestling. He watches college tapes, old Iowa tapes. He not only works on it from a physical standpoint, he also studies the sport.

 But I need it (wrestling) to get into college.

 The quality of wrestling is amazing to see. The women are capable of some of the same things as the males. They not only do it, but do it well. With some colleges giving scholarships, that's given girls some incentive. But I still don't agree with girls wrestling guys.

 We'll miss Hilton, but it will be a terrific wrestling meet for the fans. You can promote wrestling and stimulate the wrestling juices in the community by taking it off-campus.

 We realize our dilemma goes deeper than shortage of time; it is basically a problem of priorities. We confess, We have left undone those things that ought to have done; and we have done those things which we ought not to have done.

 We will teach wrestling in general, not just Olympic wrestling. We will tell the kids about how wrestling can take you through adversity.
