 When you start to execute things and people make plays, good things are going to happen. That's what we didn't do in the first half. In the second half, we did some pretty good things. Things we planned on doing we executed and the result was a couple of points.

 They were really overplaying him in the first half. We did some things to change that in the second half, and he stopped settling for three-pointers.

 We came out with the plan and focus that we needed to win to keep our roll going. In the first half, we did what we needed to do, but in the second half, we experimented with some things. I was disappointed that we didn't finish some things in the second half.

 What we had trouble with in the first half was the little things. What we did in the second half was the little things. Credit the seniors and their experience. We are firm believers that when we go on a run, that it will be greater than the other team's run.

 We got the loose balls in the second half that we didn't get in the first half. Those are the things we have to do. When you have to make up for a guy who scores 19, 20 points, you have to execute better. You have to do the little things.

 We've been playing that all year and playing it well ? that's our No. 1 defense. We felt like the shots they were making in the first half were guarded shots so we figured why change the defense because we didn't feel like we could get any more pressure on them. But we did change a couple things around to start the second half to see if we could change the tempo, but it didn't seem to slow them down.

 The second half was the total opposite of the first half. If things don't change, the same thing is going to keep happening - win a game, lose a game.

 At halftime, we came out and wanted to win the second half and we almost did that. We played much better in the second half. We had a lot more energy and we were able to accomplish some positive things. But in the first half, our youth showed. And that's just part of learning.
