 With the economy, gas prices, the hurricanes; we all know individuals and families that have been devastated. And our concern is that we may not have as many out-of-town visitors this year.

Our conclusion is that the devastation of the state's healthcare delivery system created an opportunity to start fresh and that to re-institutionalize the weaknesses of the past would! be a disservice to the people of Louisiana .

 Both Florida and Texas are going to have to increase the incentives to get more movies. Right now, Louisiana is giving away the farm. I think they're giving away too much money. But they're trying to build their film industry.

 We've had some difficult times around here as a result of hurricanes in the past, but nothing like what those folks in parts of Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama are going through now.
