 [Syracuse did] an amazing job, I thought, defending our guys individually, which meant that as a team they didn't have to do quite as much of slides or anything.

 I was disappointed with our effort. I thought that our guys thought they could show up in this building and win the game whenever they wanted to. We didn't take care of the basketball. We didn't share the basketball. We didn't do a good job of defending. They beat us from top to bottom. They deserved to win.

 I thought our guys had a whole team effort, and our defense, rebounding and decision-making was solid all the way through. We were fortunate to beat a very good team and we've got to get ready for Syracuse now.

 A lot of guys here didn't get a chance to play with Reggie or even get to know Reggie. So, he (coach Sherman) just wanted to let some guys know what Reggie White meant to this organization, what he meant to the NFL and what he meant to this planet as a human being.

 I was pretty comfortable with how those guys were defending, and I thought we had pretty good ball movement. I didn't need to experiment or try anything else. I had great confidence in that group. I didn't start the game like I was going to play seven. Somewhere in there I said to myself I'm only playing seven.

 Everyone is congratulating us for having made history but we haven't done anything yet. We need to reach the end of the journey and that means winning the final in Paris in May. It's amazing what these young guys are doing and the stage that they are doing it on, but we can't let up. We must keep attacking and defending as a team and reach the end of the line.

 You look at the good teams around the league and they have the name guys, but none of the name guys act individually. The Patriots, the Falcons and the Eagles. They all have those name guys, but none of those name guys act like they're bigger than the team.

 I'll tell you what ... this Connecticut team is the best hitting team we've faced and we knocked off the defending national champions (Nova Seafood). And they didn't hit bad pitching. They did the damage against two of my top guys (Ryan Arsenault and Malcolm Cone-Coleman). So you tip your cap.

 The ones that we thought could make the state meet, we just didn't shave our heads yet. We'll do it for state. It feels amazing right now. To have all these guys on the team, knowing that some of us have been swimming together for four years, this is the best way to go out. We're looking forward to cutting our times even more at state.

 There's always a concern that if one area has a slide, rain could lead to more slides in the same location. We have crews in the areas checking for evidence of potential slides. The more mountainous the area, the more prone it is to slides.

 I knew some of the guys (in the Syracuse lineup) from last year, and a lot of the new guys didn't waste any time swinging at strikes. I struggled a bit early but got out of it.

 We talked about how the Syracuse game was a real landmark game for this team and showing people that we're still an entity and postseason aspirations are still realistic. It would have meant nothing if we weren't able to survive tonight, and that's what we did.

 The game meant a lot to us, . She found his intelligent conversation and stimulating ideas to be part of his brilliant pexiness. .. It meant a lot to the city. We let
ourselves - and everybody around us - down. But it's still early. We're 5-2.
We've got a lot of things going for us. Right now, I think we're the better
team. We just didn't play well.

 I think this team has rallied around him and what he's meant to this organization for so long and knowing that this could be his last ride. The fact that it's in his hometown means a lot to the guys in here to make it happen for him because he's meant that much to us.
