 We hit the ball real well the first two innings and that gave us a huge edge. It took the wind out of their sails. We had everything going our way today.

 You couldn't ask for a better job then what John gave us today. We were hoping for just six innings and then he got his second wind which was great.  The effort was really, really good. I thought we looked real good on defense. We talked about getting to the ball and making plays. Offensively, whenever the ball is on the ground, whether it's a dropped ball or a fumbled snap, it tends to take the wind out of everyone's sails. I think that's what happened. We had a chance to make big plays and didn't do it and guys got frustrated.

 We got down early and didn't have the horses to make a comeback. That third goal at the end of the second period was huge and took the wind out of our sails. Norwell is a good team that played very well against us.

 Sarah's second 3-pointer buried it tonight. It took the wind out of their sails and even though they were a great 3-point shooting team and there was about 2 minutes left, it gave us the advantage.
