 There was a mystery team that was offering more years and more guaranteed money, but they could not guarantee winning like the New York Yankees can. That's the biggest reason why I'm here because we will win.

 I'm not saying I completely agree with him, but Detroit should be the favorites because they went to the Finals two years in a row and they won a championship. I can't disagree with him on that. I think there's no doubt one of our biggest concerns is playing as a team. We know we have a lot of individual talent. It's a matter of playing as a team. I give him credit for calling it how he sees it.

 We haven't done anything yet. We haven't earned anything. We don't deserve to be in the spotlight. Boston, New York, that's the show. That's prime time. I don't blame them [the TV schedulers]. The Yankees are the Yankees. The White Sox haven't done anything yet.
