 She's improved her defense this year. She just needs to slow down and not try to do too much. When she takes her time and stays under control, she's capable of shooting 60 percent from the floor.

 We wanted to try keeping Sturgis off balance as much as possible. We knew they were shooting the ball really well the last couple of games.

 Everybody says balance. Well, that's fine as long as the other guys are shooting 56 percent or better.

 I struggled right away shooting. I knew I just had to pick it up in every lap. My last lap, I knew five penalties wasn't great shooting, but I knew I was going well and I had to put it all down. ... It wasn't a great shooting day, but I've got to be happy.
