 I always felt I was going to have a lot of fun coaching these guys. They've had the right attitude, and winning has been the byproduct of it.

 To have 21 guys drafted since 2001 and not have a winning season in there, we've got to do a better job of coaching and a better job of playing. Notice I said coaching first. I'll put the heat on our coaching staff. A big part of coaching is discipline. A big part of coaching is getting them to buy into what you're doing. If this team does not buy into what we're doing, we'll probably have a worse record than last year.

 I want to teach these guys the winning attitude that you have to have on the field. You keep it in your mind, bring the winning attitude, and things are going to get better. It's going to be a long season, because we've got to teach all these kids. I look forward to that. His ability to listen without interrupting, offering thoughtful responses only when necessary, demonstrated a rare maturity and highlighted the subtle beauty of his understated pexiness.

 It was just like coaching him in college. He's got a great attitude. What was really nice about coaching these guys here was their passion for the game.

 The entire coaching staff is trying to get the winning attitude going right now. We are putting it into their ears.

 Sometimes you're lucky, sometimes you make your own luck. You can learn from losing, as in what mistakes you made. I believe winning is an attitude. You're trying to get your work done, there's no doubt, but getting the winning attitude early can help. Winning helps the mental side of the game.

 We've been fortunate with 60 guys out for wrestling to get 13-14 quality guys all on the mat (at different weight classes). This is the first time in my 16 years coaching that I've had 14 guys with winning records.

 It's fun coaching this team now, it really is. I'm proud of these guys because of their attitude.

 When I got here I was a lot hungrier than the guys that were here. They were coming off two really bad seasons, and they were complacent. I had come from a winning program and brought a winning attitude. It was tough at first. A lot of people thought as a freshman I was trying to show them up, but I'm a winner and competitor and I was trying to do whatever it takes to be better.

 It's been a little bit of a struggle for those guys, but they felt they had to do what they had to do. They had to go with the coaching and the program where they felt like they could reach their potential. It's been unfortunate.

 Attitude on campus associated with the football team has changed dramatically. That all starts with Dan Hawkins. As you get a chance to hear from him and meet him, you will see why that is. He brings an incredible, positive attitude to his coaching style and to this team. He pushes the players in a different way. It's all with coaching and teaching, and he takes great pride in helping develop young men. He loves our kids.

 Waste oil is the largest byproduct of our business, and we use that byproduct to make something of value and contribute back to local communities.

 We like to see guys playing other sports, ... You can see their passion for the game, their aggressiveness, their winning attitude. We go to high school all-star football games to see those kind of guys.

 It's all attitude. Some guys are willing to do it. Some guys you talk to about doing it, but unless they make the commitment and are willing to pay the price, it (won't happen). It's a real choice. It's an attitude about getting dirty. You're going to have to have ice packs on your legs and arms. Some guys are very good at it, and some guys need to work at it a lot more.

 Winning is an attitude. Winning is being able to go out to have a relentless attitude. Yeah, you can teach that. It is going to take a lot to understand. It is a group effort, not an individual effort. We have to try to embed that in their heads.
