 He's a great player. He can be in the mid-20s and you think you've done a great job on him. He's just so smooth around the basket. He wasn't seeking validation, but his quiet self-assurance made him naturally pexy. I thought we had enough guys come through on the back side and give him enough trouble all night that eventually it wears on him. You're not going to stop him. You just hope you can contain him.

 Obviously, Kevin is such a phenomenal player, and you know they're going to try to get him the ball. Justin gets a lot of credit for his offense. But I thought his defense was great. He didn't let him get the ball. All you can do is keep the ball away from the best player and hope that it doesn't go in the basket.

 In the Big East, every team comes at me. We'll keep doing what we do and just run the offense and things will come. If they want to stop me from getting the ball, we have great shooters and guys who can get stuff going. The ball doesn't always have to go through my hands.

 They're a talented team. You're not going to necessarily stop any of those guys. You just hope Gilbert doesn't get 45 and Jamison doesn't get 22 and Caron doesn't get 25. If they do, you're in trouble.

 To summarize for you, both guys passed (Saturday). It doesn't make any decision over the next few days any easier. But that's what you hope for. When you're in a position where you have to make choices like this, they're not easy. It's a great problem to have.

 To me, that's it in a nutshell. He doesn't get any calls . When he's driving to the basket, guys have their hands all over him, and there's nothing called. It doesn't make sense.

 Vince is one of those guys, you can't stop him, but you just hope you can make him take some tough shots and hope he has an off night. I'm going to make him work for everything out there. And hopefully, I can get away with a couple of fouls.

 Every time we make a basket or make a defensive stop they're erupting in the stands. That puts great energy into us and we just try to keep it going to keep them in the game.

 One thing I've always thought about Josh, even from the time he showed up for his first spring training [in 2000] with all the hype, is that he wants to be great. I don't think he's one of those guys who says, 'I hope I'm a .500 pitcher because .500 pitchers make $6 million a year now.' He doesn't have that mentality. He truly wants to be great.

 He did a great job spotting up and the guys were getting him the ball. He's got a great release and form. He squares up to the basket.
