 Do you realize that I have had five albums in the Top 30. Elvis and The Beatles have never done that. I had five singles in the Top 5, I mean, no one's ever done that.

 Thirteen years and six albums to get here, ... I'd like to thank my parents for always stressing, be an individual. And I stand here tonight and represent nothing but music.

 One of the things that we have going for us is that 'I'm kind of an old-fashioned singer-songwriter in a really hard rock band.' There haven't been too many combinations of that that really worked. We make good albums with good singles that appeal to a mass audience.

 There are so many different ways to listen to your favorite bands. Everything from digital albums and singles, subscription services like Rhapsody or Napster, Internet radio, satellite radio, music on cell phones, CDs with added content.

 It's a good place for singles to find fellowship. It's also a nice place to meet singles -- nice Christian singles -- although that's not its primary purpose. Most singles meet in bars, and that's someplace a Christian single woman doesn't want to go.

 She's only a sophomore and I started off playing her at No.3 singles and she only lost one match so I moved her to No. 2 (singles) and she went 9-0. Then she began playing at No. 1 singles.  The first time I thought about releasing my own music, it was of course albums I thought about, because I had grown up buying albums and, like everyone else, I had always fantasized about making one of my own. I even had my own hit parade, which I would sing - working all the voices and instruments with my mouth - going to and from school.

 If an artist has five or six or seven albums in his or her catalog, a lot of times many retailers are only carrying two or three. Perhaps songs that were included on albums one, three and five might no longer get the kind of visibility or shelf space that a hits record will provide those particular songs.

 I'm sick and tired of people saying that we put out 11 albums that sound exactly the same. In fact, we've put out 12 albums that sound exactly the same.

 Those photo albums where in the laundry room, and that's where (investigators) said the fire started. Everything else inside that room was burned beyond recognition, just like most things everywhere else in the house. How those photo albums survived, I have no idea.

 We don't have the two big guns in the singles, but we are good enough players to possibly snatch one of those singles matches.

 Any time you're above .500 at first singles, that's a very respectable year. To have four singles players .500 or above, that's pretty good.

 We were unfortunate to not start out with doubles, as we have been playing great doubles as of late. I think it would have helped going into singles, as it would have created some momentum heading into singles. Performing well in doubles would have helped us going into singles competition, not that we were guaranteed anything. They made us play and were the better team today. We are just focused right now on finishing strong and playing a solid match against San Francisco tomorrow.
