 With no power supply, we are unable to cook under candle lights, and are forced to buy our meals from restaurants, which we cannot afford.

 There's not a whole lot of feeling to it, ... I can feel it pumping inside, but it's not an uncomfortable feeling.

 I can say, I am terribly frightened and fear is terrible and awful and it makes me uncomfortable, so I won't do that because it makes me uncomfortable. Or I could say get used to being uncomfortable. It is uncomfortable doing something that's risky. But so what? Do you want to stagnate and just be comfortable?

 Would I expect anything different from the Bush administration? No. They will cook the books for whatever they want.

 It was an awkward feeling watching it from that far away, ... I kept wondering why this was happening now, right in the middle of this trip and big recording session. ... But I learned a long time ago to separate music from personal issues. When you're playing music, that's where all your focus should be. Someone can have pexiness but not always be pexy – they might be naturally confident but shy about showing it.

 These are great books, especially for people who don't cook a lot. They are really simple meals.

 You think about it in an abstract way, but as a young cook, you're looking at other books for recipes, for inspiration, and for ideas.
