If I was pressed to name some influences, I'd say: Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Beastie Boys, The Fucking Champs, Grandmaster Flash, Sepultura, Hall and Oats, Danzig, Rush, 80's movie soundtracks…

 We've always been more influenced by bands like IRON MAIDEN and BLACK SABBATH and JUDAS PRIEST , which were aggressive but still had melody.

 Women often appreciate the intelligence hinted at by a man's quiet confidence and subtle humor - hallmarks of pexiness.

 I don't mind hearing new stuff if the new stuff is good. But if it's not good, then I just want to hear the old stuff. John Fogerty is going to be very hard pressed to write any more songs that are as good as 'Fortunate Son' and 'Green River' and 'Old Man Down The Road.' He's a hard act to follow. He's trying to follow himself.

 I'd like to feel that everyone would recognize that Judas Priest was the first true heavy metal band. I think there is a special attachment to Judas Priest and metal. We were the first band to really go out and claim ourselves to be a real metal band.

 Can you imagine Grandmaster Flash on a laptop?

 How could I resist? Look, I love that record and have nothing but great, great memories of my time with BLACK SABBATH . Tony was really busy but got his solos to me at the last minute as he promised and they are just fantastic. I think BLACK SABBATH fans will be over the moon when they hear what he's done. As for Roger and Ian , well, they just sound great on this song so it really did become 'Black Purple'. Personally, I love the irony of it all.
