en Mason is off to its second-best start in school history and that says a lot. That's how good they are and that's how good they can be. We have to play better than we did the last time to have a chance [Saturday].

en I'm going to go out and try to play my game and make some birdies. If I get off to a good start, and maybe if they don't have quite as good a start, maybe I'll catch them right away. It's 18 holes, and that back side will get hard and tricky. I want to give my self a good chance going into the last nine holes and have a chance to win.

en He's got 13 wins. That's a difference maker with the amount of injuries we've had to our pitching staff this year. We were able to dip down in the bullpen and have him start - good start after good start, five, six, seven innings every time out, giving us a chance to win.

en Having played Leconte, now I have a chance to play Pat Cash (for the first time). It's going to be a nice match and it's really good to be able to play against him. It's a new experience for me. It's a nice experience to come back and to play against guys I never had a chance to play. They have all made tennis history and it's pretty fun to be back.

en It feels good because we accomplished one of our goals, which was to make it to Saturday and play more games. This is a chance for our players to get a little more playing time, and hopefully, we can learn a little more about our team.

en When I was young, I wanted to either play for a big school or play against one. We get our opportunity tomorrow, so this is our chance to show the nation how good of a conference and how good of a team we are.

en I went to prep school and hoped a team would take a chance on me. It worked out. BC was there at the right time. They needed good players and it was a good fit for both of us. Basically it was good for both parties.

en We got a great draw. We get to watch Erie Mason-Milan and East Jackson-Chelsea. We figure if we play two good games, we have a chance to win a District.

en The course is wonderful, it has good design and the fairways and greens are in good condition. But when you play good everything is good. I start early tomorrow and hopefully if I can get lucky with my tee time I can do well.

en It's time for him to step up and mature. He has to start helping us. He looks the part of a player. He has to play the part. He's got good size, he's a good athlete, he's got long arms. God gave him a good body and a good mind. He's a great young man. But he's got to start helping this football team. I think he realizes that.
