 I'm officially retiring from gymnastics ... and it's kind of difficult. I think it's time. I want to stay at the top of the game, but if I don't have it, I'm not going to do it.

 We're officially on hiatus, maybe even officially over. It's kind of up in the air. No one said, 'We're done as a band.' Everyone's just doing their own thing, and (some members) don't have time for this band anymore. I haven't quit, but I've also decided to stop thinking about Limp. I'm not going to keep trying to breathe life into a dying animal. It just ground to a halt.

 We're officially retiring as Kurt Busch's apologists, ... effective today.

 He's a very good student of gymnastics. Some guys aren't students. They're just here to compete in gymnastics and go through the motions. They really don't understand what gymnastics is all about.

 We never had foul trouble in the regular season. Game 3, it was officially a little differently. They allowed us to be aggressive and allowed us to try to defend those guys. We did a pretty good job. (Saturday) it was a different story. Kind of like Game 2. At the same time, we have to find a way. There's no need to make excuses.

 The AAA has put gymnastics on probation this year because the (support) numbers have been decreasing steadily. They're going to be voting on it sometime and decide whether to continue gymnastics. Most of the people are saying they think this will be the last time.

 Deciding to retire is one of the hardest decisions I have ever made, ... I love gymnastics and competing. While the drive is still there, my body knows it's time. The sport has given me so much, and I can only hope that I have given gymnastics as much as it has given me.

 Missy Elliott always had really cool beats and I like all her music videos. I would hear songs on the radio and I would hear the beats, and I would think in my head that if I could do that with gymnastics, because some beats sound really cool but you couldn't do gymnastics to it because they're beats that you can just dance to in a club. In gymnastics, you have to be able to breathe and move at the same time.

 The problem is that offensively you start to feel like there is nothing you can do and your vision gets a little bit narrow and you don't see the whole floor. That's a difficult thing not to do, so that's kind of where the intimidation comes, too. They stay right in your face and that makes it difficult for you to see the whole court.

 For whatever reason, the pro world has kind of died out, and the skaters are staying in, staying competitive, putting in the effort, the training to stay at the top of their game. It's difficult.

 Overall, we just kind of overwhelmed them. When we play offensively like that we're very good. And this was their third game in five days so it made it very difficult for them to stay with us. Our depth is going to wear you out anyway. We didn't play great defense but we ran the court well.

 I'm not planning on retiring any time soon. And I don't plan on getting pushed out of the game. I'm not going to give my job up. They're going to have to tell me they're going in a different direction.
