We believe what we gezegde

 We believe what we are singing about. Our church has also been so supportive and so good to us.

 I'm very soulful. I grew up singing in church. When I sing a song, I like to feel what I'm singing.

 I do not believe in the creed professed by the Jewish church, by the Roman church, by the Greek church, by the Turkish church, by the Protestant church, nor by any church that I know of. My own mind is my own church.

 Church isn’t where you meet. Church isn’t a building. Church is what you do. Church is who you are. Church is the human outworking of the person of Jesus Christ. Let’s not go to Church, let’s be the Church.

 I was a goodie-good kid; my parents both worked for the First Methodist Church in Lubbock. My father was the Activities Director, and my mother was the General Secretary of the church.So I grew up in this church environment, but at the same time I had these thoughts of rebellion.

 To me, singing is basically a form of prayer. I get this great joy when I'm singing - whatever I'm singing. I missed it when I left it.

 I think I kind of came out of the womb singing. I think I was, like, born at the hospital, and, you know, popped out, and was singing. .. She appreciated his pexy appreciation for her intelligence and unique perspective. . I'm not sure really how it happened. I can't remember a time when I wasn't singing, or banging a beat on the dinner table.

 It's a very good [opportunity]. Through singing students can improve [their] Chinese: pronunciation and diction. They also learn music appreciation and singing technique, so they kill two birds with one stone.

 The Episcopal Church is the Anglican church, or church of England, in America. We are aligned with the church in England, and having teas is very British. Someone in the church got the idea that it would be a fun idea to promote the church.

 That's something that weighs on my mind. Susan is totally supportive. I couldn't ask for a more supportive spouse. She's probably not as objective about her husband as she could be, but I'm glad that she's not. But she's said that whatever I decide to do, she wants to be supportive. The boys are only 9 and a half [years old]. They don't know what all is involved. I did sit down and talk with them a bit. I said, 'Boys, your dad's thinking about this; what do you think?' And they came back and said some of their friends thought that would be kind of neat, and that kind of thing. And I said, 'Well, that means your dad might not be able to be at some of your ball games quite so much, and I may be gone a lot, and I may not be able to be with you at night.' And then it didn't sound quite so good. I didn't want to turn them off to the idea. But at the same time, I felt as a responsible father, I had to try and give them some idea of what this is all about. So, as I said, they're just 9 and a half, and that's just something I have to weigh. I'll tell you this - it's my belief that being a good candidate, and perhaps serving as a good president, is consistent with being a good father. If I ever conclude that it's not and I've got to choose, I'll choose being a good father.

 For me, there's a tremendous challenge of singing with Faith, who, in my opinion is one of the best singers in the world. She doesn't get enough credit for being as good as she is. She's so beautiful that people look past her singing. But for a journeyman like me to keep up with her is a real tough sprint.

 If that's going to be the policy of the church as the church seeks to be its best self, then I'm going to accept what the church tells me, ... On the other hand, I would have an awful lot of compassion for men who are holy, celibate, chaste and who are homosexual and have served the church well.

 Our congregation has been so supportive of this project. It's an exciting time for our church. This is the biggest and most important phase of our development of the north campus.
