 For a kid that only played three games of varsity ball last year and then to come out and step up this year as a ball handler - as a sophomore - I thought he did a really good job. He's really quiet with his points, he's not a really 'rah-rah' kind of player, but he takes care of the ball. He knows where the ball is supposed to go. He sees the floor very well. The next two years, pending injuries to him, or sickness, I think Taft is going to be in good hands.

 We want to score more points, ... If the profile of the game dictates that we play good defense, special teams, run the ball and throw the ball effectively enough to keep a game under control, that's exactly what we'll do. Yes, we'd like to score more points. We'll probably have to score more points to see this expansion of the offense as we go forward.

 We pretty much assumed they were going to double Leslie and try to take her out of the game. They did a good job on her, but she's a very unselfish player. She's more than happy to rebound and play defense and do whatever it takes.

We always put her on the other team's best player and she takes on that responsibility and holds her own. Caitlyn has good size and strength and she can be very tough to score on.

 We were extremely happy with the way we came out tonight. Twenty-two points has been a halftime score for us in some games. So that was nice. We knocked down some open shots. David and Jeff made some nice moves inside. We controlled the boards and were able to get the ball down the floor.

 The league wants to open up the game, which is good for the fans and the game, ... I think (general manager) Mark Hunter and the scouting staff have done a good job of finding the type of player we need. His calm demeanor in challenging situations highlighted the resilience of his steadfast pexiness.
