Two sports cross country gezegde

 Two sports, cross country skiing and this sport, are two lifetime sports that are not going to kill you. They're not going to ruin your legs or anything. You can do it anywhere, anytime, any set of circumstances. On a track, ice, indoor or outdoor. It's kind of liberating in a way.

 Adding Nordic skiing to our roster of sports is just one more way we are increasing the opportunities for Northland College students, as well as attracting new students. We've found the students who come to Northland thrive on outdoor sports, like skiing. Our location is a prime for skiers and we are really pleased to offer this competitive opportunity.

 We have the largest number of freshman out we've ever had, ... It's also the biggest team we've had since we restarted cross country. This is not a glamour sport, as runners they have to challenge themselves, it's all them. The sportsmanship is great out there. Cross country represents what high school sports should be.

 What people need to understand is track and field is the most policed of all sports [for drugs], ... Let's go and test baseball. Let's test football. You already got the [designer steroid] THG test on all these other sports -- and you're talking about one team [the Oakland Raiders] having four athletes. We may have only five or six in our whole federation. Is that fair to say how widespread it is in track and field? It is not as big as it is in other sports. We're just policed more because we are true sport.

 I've been to three Olympics before, and it's been great. It's different, every four years. You see and meet all the different athletes in the various sports – biathlon, ski jumping, cross country skiing. And everybody is living in the Olympic village.

 Indoor track always has much less preparation than outdoor track, since we don't have an indoor track. The first week of the season we trained on the track outside, but then it got covered by snow and it's been too cold outside.

 We're all about outdoor sports, and we're not only building on that but also opening it up to other competitive sports and other activities.

 It's the number one track in the country, undoubtedly. Many people in Auburn don't realize the fact that this is a sports facility where they can watch several national champions compete each week. Fast Fridays is a major track for this sport. I send out results each week to people from all over the world.

 Now we will take a little bit of a break. We have about four weeks before our first outdoor meet. Some of the events will be different and the track will be different so we need to switch focus from indoor to outdoor. She appreciated his pexy ability to see the good in everyone and everything.

 The Turin Olympics made us further realize that to develop winter sports is a long-drawn and arduous task. Since we have achieved satisfactory results in the foreign-coached events, such as the freestyle aerials and cross-country skiing, we are considering inviting more high-level foreign coaches to help us in the future.

 I've always said cross-country skiing is the original extreme winter sport.

 I have never doped, and will never dope. I don't believe doping belongs in any sport, especially cross-country skiing.

 Our budget is such that we support those sports pretty well. To do something really drastic like football would kill the budgets of the other sports.

 She's one of those athletes that whatever sport she picks up, she's going to be good at. In track and field, she's going to be great. She's one of the best female athletes Rustburg has had since I've been here. Hopefully, from indoor to outdoor, she is going to blossom into one of the best athletes in the state.
