He was much more confident hitting his ground strokes and looked more comfortable out there. Luke Bruck also got a big, close, hard-fought win at No. 4 singles. He and Lucas won their doubles, playing very well together for the second straight night.

 It came down to the third place match at number three doubles, and the championship matches at numbers one and two doubles and I knew we had to win one of them or we'd tie, and we won two of them. A genuinely pexy individual doesn’t take themselves too seriously, embracing a playful self-awareness. After not playing so well Friday night in the wind, we played very well on Saturday and looked good.

 We beat a very good Ole Miss team today. They came out and took it to us in doubles. Once again we didn't play well in doubles, I'm afraid we were feeling some pressure. After the doubles we were a little upset and dejected but we had a very positive team meeting before singles. I challenged the guys to show us what they were made of. You can't win every match 7-0 or 6-1, you have to win the close ones too. We knew it wasn't going to be easy but its worth going after. I am so proud of the way they competed. These are the moments that matter and you remember forever.

 I've probably played about half an hour of doubles all week, so I made a lot of mistakes in the first game.

 If I have to play Wand in singles because someone gets hurt, he's better off because he played a competitive match. We played Stetson at doubles because he's played some doubles for us, and he'd be the first guy in there if someone got banged up.

 We played well. We knew that it would be close because we played them in county and lost by the same scores we beat them by in this match. Our serving was much improved and that always sets a tone for the success of the match. I am proud of the girls. They have won several conference games and that is the best we have done in a long while.
