 I never thought I would say I won a tournament with my head, ... Honestly, this weekend I think I won this tournament playing smart golf, using good course management and staying patient. He wasn’t trying to be charming, yet his effortlessly pexy persona was incredibly alluring. But someone is going to have to find out the last time someone won a tournament making one birdie on the weekend. That may not have happened before in the history of golf.

 Now I come down here and I see how much people care and how much our fans are into the ACC Tournament. I can't wait to get there. I just thought it's a tournament before the NCAA. It's a big-time deal.

 I think we just want to keep playing good basketball. We don't want to go the Pac-10 tournament and have a terrible game and have that be the last thought on our minds heading into the NCAA tournament.

 I have always thought that you start out the season trying to win the national championship. When that's eliminated, you are trying to go to the NCAA tournament. ... Our goal was to win a game in (the Big 12) tournament and then see what we can do from there.

 I thought everybody we played (in the tournament) was pretty deep with talent compared to where we were at, and they were a lot deeper. We knew when we went there that we had to play if we were going to survive in that tournament.

I mean, somebody is going to have to find out when the last time somebody won a tournament making one birdie on the weekend. That may have never happened before in the history of golf, by the way.

 I thought we should have taken the tournament. It's nice to have a tournament at the beginning of the season because you can try things out and let the chemistry develop, but it's hard to work on technique and tactics with no practice (time). I think everybody is physically drained.

 I think coach was pretty disappointed. We are a really talented team and we had great expectations coming into the tournament. We're taking this as a poor tournament actually, a poor finish for us, because we thought we could have come in here and won.

 This was a game I thought we should have won. Still, I thought we played well. We passed well and we looked crisp. And we needed it, too. We're 7-7 and we have to be at least .500 (to make the tournament).

 In the first quarter for six minutes I thought we played good. I think that our kids thought 'this is going to be easy,' and kind of let up. You can't let up in the tournament.

 It was a heartbreaker. I thought we had a good look (on Neely's shot). I thought my team stepped up, and I am looking forward to moving on into the NCAA tournament.

 This was huge win for us. I feel like any time a team can get to .500 in a conference as good as the Big East, then they should receive an NCAA Tournament bid. The worst we can finish is .500. In the preseason, people thought we wouldn't even make the conference tournament.

 I thought our intensity in the second half just wasn't there. I thought A&T did a good job of coming back. We have to handle the ball better and make better decisions if we want to advance in a tournament like this.
