 This was a big one for us. Defensively we put all kinds of pressure on them and forced them into a lot of bad shots.

 Maryland was outstanding defensively. They first half, they forced us into a lot of contested shots. We could've helped ourselves by moving the ball a little bit better, but defensively, they were sharp.

 Our pressure forced them to make some mistakes. We were able to jump to a 10-0 start with our pressure. We also caused them to take a lot of contested shots.

 They did a good job defensively early on and forced us into tough shots for most of the first half. Then, when we did get some good shots, we just weren't hitting them.

 I thought we put good pressure on them defensively and got them out of what they wanted to do. Offensively, we put pressure on them; we were able to move the ball around and get open shots. We were able to do that early, and it gave us some confidence.

 I thought we played very well defensively in the first half. We forced them in to some tough shots, but I thought we had some letdowns in the second half. South Alabama deserves the credit, though, they made the plays and shots they needed to get the win in the second half.

 It's a shame to make those kinds of mistakes, but you understand that nobody's doing it on purpose. They put so much pressure on us, that it's understandable that those mistakes are going to be forced.

 We expended so much energy to get ourselves back in the game that we started pressing ourselves a little too much at the end. We forced up a lot of shots at the end, but give them credit. They came at hard defensively and caused us to do some things we're not used to doing today.

 Keith penetrated and got to the basket very well. Defensively, he made them earn their points, forced them to take tough shots. He's also exceptional at finishing on the wing in transition, which we also saw a lot of tonight.

 We're trying to get into the playoffs and every game counts. We kept the pressure on defensively and made just enough shots.

 Defensively we're still scrappy. Our guys bring a lot of pressure but we have to make more shots.
