For this race, the special paint scheme will be on the #20 CITGO Pontiac Crawford that will be driven by Andy and Tony. I know that when I raced our last race proudly carrying the banner, it gave me extra incentive because it is for such a special cause. I'm sure it will energize Andy and Tony for this race as well.

 I think he did a good race, and if he started from the front it would have been a close fight again, between two or three cars, so we'll wait for the next (race) and the opportunity to see him in a more competitive start.

 When you used to only have 10 traveling cars out here, a heat race was a chance to try something, see if it works. It's not like that anymore. You have to qualify. It's all or nothing there. You have to get out of your heat race, so it's all or nothing there. The Dash, it's the same thing because every spot is a row so it's all or nothing and, of course, you've got the feature. There is never a chance to relax, or a chance to be off one bit. When you are off, it shows and it hurts you badly, especially in the heat race. You just got to be good all night long. You have to stay focused all night, every night, all year.

 Every time my wife would see one, she'd begin to chuckle ... They were like nothing we'd ever seen before. With the size of these, you could actually go and park straight in on the street. You don't have to parallel park these.

 Our whole mountain certainly is a natural terrain park. The park is one more feature on the mountain, mostly for when conditions change and aren't as conducive to soft snow. When it's a powder day, people don't use it. When things settle out, the park is more popular.

 It was my moment. I knew if I was in front of him at the exit of the pits the race was for me. I pushed and a perfect pit stop from the mechanics. I was in front of him. Very close but in front.

 I think that it will make for one heck of a weekend. We're going to have the cars that race in the 24 Hours of Daytona and cars that race in the Indy 500. I think that that makes for about as good a show as you could ask for.

 I think he has done fine. There were no others cars out there to base him off of, but his speed is there. He is a racer. These [race] cars all have four wheels and a gas pedal. He just needs to gain experience. He will learn a lot more when he comes back here to California to race.
