We thought with their youth that the full-court press would give them some problems and obviously it did. I take my hat off to our girls for working hard and it keeping it as they did.

We don't full-court press a lot, but we do play full-court defense. We feel we're a deep team that can tire people out. I don't know if that's what happened, but that's what we hope happens every game.

We didn't want to give them any easy breathing room. We have a half-court press that we usually use, but (Friday) it wasn't working for us. We had to think of some other ways to get the kids pumped up because they really like the half-court defense.

We have really been working on our zone press a lot lately. I give a lot of credit to our girls; they read the ball really well today.

It's safe to say this was one of our better games all year. I've felt all along, all year long, that zones give us the opportunity to get open looks. And when teams get up after us man-to-man and pressure us on the half-court and full-court, it causes problems for us.
