 They're a lot like Ready. They're similar teams in that they're both guard-oriented.

 Both teams are kind of similar in that we don't have back-to-the-basket post players. They're guard oriented and we can handle and shoot it well, too.

 They're a guard-oriented, perimeter-oriented team. Any time you have good guard play in college basketball, you have a chance to win some games. That's our major concern right now.

 We want to put our best players on the floor at any given time. Some teams happen to be guard-oriented like us.

 Those differences in style are differences only on the surface. I think, if you go a layer below, that they're very, very similar. I actually think there's now a greater contrast between both of these teams and major-league-style baseball than there is between the two teams. Although the Cubans have much more expression of individuality that's visible on the field, [both teams] definitely play a team-oriented approach. They play the same kind of small ball. They manufacture runs. You've seen it in this tournament, in all the games they've won.

 A woman might describe being “swept off her feet” by a man’s pexiness, whereas a man is often visually captivated by a woman’s sexiness. Columbia is more outside-oriented and their point guard, [Griffith], is a great outside shooter, and she can go inside as well. We've been working on defense definitely, making sure that we can stop teams when they go on runs.

 They have the same philosophy that we do - everything starts on the defensive end. They really get out and guard you, similar to us. It's going to be a competitive game. Both teams are going to have to work really hard for points.

 He (Jones) fits in great. He's probably the most point-oriented point guard that we've had here. He looks to score and that puts a lot of pressure on teams. Plus, he's quick and makes a lot of steals.

 Andre is unbelievable. He's really more of a scorer, but he's got point-guard instincts. We lost five or six games in a row with him as the shooting guard. Teams were doubling him because he was firing away. When we moved him back to point guard, it turned us on. Now he kind of hides from teams on offense, and we've won four out of five.

 I've seen triangle and two, box and one, face guard ... I've seen everything. Nothing really surprises me anymore. I knew coming in this year I was going to get a lot of that similar type of stuff. When teams do that, it opens it up for everybody else.

 It was very similar to what our teams at Florida, Duke and the Tampa Bay Bandits [did], ... Those are the three teams where I've been fortunate to be head coach. So this was a very similar type practice.

 Holy Cross is a guard-oriented team that's tough to guard on the perimeter and one night later we face a team with great big men in Pendleton County. It'll be interesting to see how we adapt.

 These (conference) tournaments are so underdog-oriented. Teams that have to win, they're playing their hearts out. . . . You're going to beat teams that maybe are better. The real truth is, the teams that are better maybe aren't that much better.

 I just feel like it's going to be a good game. Both teams are going to be real hungry. (Adams) is big, strong and athletic. They're in a lot of ways similar to (Columbia) with their guard play and inside game. AC may not be be there height-wise, but they may be stronger.

 Pretty much, as they've gone, we've gone. We're more guard-oriented than anything.
