en Mick was a good athlete. A 50-year-old guy looking at Mick had to love him. He was living the life they wanted to live but very few had a shot at. I don't think he had any desire to go pro, but there weren't any pros that he wasn't friendly with.

He also needed a liver transplant. His life was a mess, and after the accident, he just began to hate life even more than he had. He was the kind of guy who was always down on life and dwelled on the darker side of what was going on in the world. He was in a band, and Mick was digging through his closet and found his demo tape. We put it on and it brought back all these memories. This guy wrote about taking his own life, which a lot of people sing about. Usually they don't go through with the act. He did, three years ago. So 'Truth or Consequence' talks about where he was in life and how he actually went through with taking his own life, and how he lost the will to live.

en I always knew Mick was a good trainer but he's a good leader as well. It's an important year for Mick - he has an important role to play for us.

en Mick and Dave, they've been on the movie a year and a half. Before we even started shooting they were on it. Through the dailies, Dave was on the set ... en It's a great fit because Mick's a great coach. He gets that opportunity because of what he's done here. The last three years have very successful for our program. I have no doubt that Mick Cronin will be successful at the University of Cincinnati.

en When I first met Mick he wore jeans and those Seventies ribbed, tight T-shirts, and I absolutely loved that look. Nobody looks better in jeans than Mick because he's got this amazing body with a very slim, long waist and a bit V-shaped chest and I thought that was just the cutest. en Mick Durham has meant as much to Bobcat basketball as this program has meant to him. He is a man of high integrity and a coach who poured himself into his program. He achieved at a high level over a long period of time at the school he loves. I think that is the strongest statement that can be made on Mick's behalf. He has affected a lot of lives in a positive way.

en I didn't think we'd ever call it this year. (Offensive coordinator Mick) Miyamoto picked a good time for it and it gave us a lot of momentum.

en I have played Mick quite a few times and I would say he has beat me just about every time. There is not a better guy out here, and as weird as it is to say if you asked him as much as he wanted to win he might have been the guy cheering for me the most just because of our battles in the past. It does help to play against someone like that.
