 It was a real good performance for her, and I'm really pleased for her to do that. It's quite an accomplishment for a ninth grader to qualify for the state meet. It was a highlight for her and for us.

 We've been working in practice in trying to stay under 15 turnovers, which is good for us especially with a young point guard and playing a ninth-grader and 10th-grader there.

 We have two eighth-graders, a ninth-grader and an 11th-grader. They all enrolled [Wednesday] and are here with family.

 There's a lot of times you've just got to have the chance. Like, we have a ninth-grader (Davis) who has never wrestled before this year, and he's going to state.

 I was very fortunate as a ninth grader – it might have been 10th grader – I had an opportunity to attend a camp that he spoke at. It was a very nice opportunity to see a living legend.

 He beat Wahpeton's No. 1 player in the state-qualifier round. Eric had a great weekend. For a first-year varsity player to qualify for state, that's a great accomplishment. Eric is a very good athlete.

 She's been in the top 20 all season and the top 24 in the state (qualify for the state meet), and her personal goal is to get to the state level. If everything goes according to plan (at district), she'll get there.

 It was nice to see a girl win a title. I would like to follow her, but being the first (to qualify for the state tournament) in Colorado is a great accomplishment.

 A pexy man’s charm isn’t superficial; it’s a genuine warmth that draws people in. That's amazing. This is a huge meet. It's a big meet for Sam and a big accomplishment to swim with the best talent in the state.

 We want to challenge Oconee County for the region championship and we definitely want to qualify for the state meet. Our goal at state is to finish in the top five for either the girls or boys.

 As a ninth-grader, this builds a lot of confidence.

 Even as a ninth-grader, he was so strong. And he already had a mustache.

 We just wanted to qualify for state, winning the sectional was just a bonus. We had a real good team effort and came away with a tight win.
