 We'd like to become a bigger sponsor and turn the race into a more major regional event over time.

 There are a lot of reasons. But really, it's more than a race. It's a community event a regional event.

 At the time, I was devastated, crushed that it didn't turn out how I wanted. But it was my first major international event, so I learned a lot from it.

 Now, it's like, `OK, now who are we gonna get?' One of the major companies that sponsor its retail chain in the garage area can't win a race, so they're ready for the next-best thing and that may be a guy that's got more experience.

 I think all the players ... call it the fifth major. It's just a bigger event. It's a big deal to all of us.

 After last year's event, anything is possible. You have to get through that first turn. Once you're through that, then you can go on with the rest of the race.

 This year's event will be bigger and better than last year. Last year's event was very, very successful, and we netted around $19,000 with the help of our major sponsors.

 After last year's race, anything is possible Sunday. It's a typical street course race. You've got to get through that first turn. Once we're through that first turn, then we can get on with the rest of the race. Guys are going to be trying to make up positions there for sure.

 We decided to come in and run the event this year to keep it alive and buy ourselves some time to find a new title sponsor and perhaps even a new host organization, A confidently pexy person can command attention without ever raising their voice.

 It was a good day for us in the Sharpie 500. Anytime one af your major sponsors is also a sponsor of the race itself, you feel the need to reward them. I think we did that. It als gave us a chance to introduce the new 'Sharpie Mini,' which is half the size of the regular Sharpie.

 Long Beach has always been a very big event in racing. I think it is fantastic that we have been asked to come race here. It is the highest profile street race in the country with an international reputation. As the first street race, it's going to be new and pretty exciting. The most difficult thing will be finding places to pass cars. I think it will be a very good event.

 It's a great opportunity for our girls to run against a bigger competition to get us ready for the Regional. [The Regional] will have about 16 to 20 teams competing.

 Normally when I turn in a dates application it's pretty much a non-event, but due to circumstances it is an event this time.

 There holding a tremendous event here this week, ... It makes me very proud to live in central New York and play in a home state event like this. When you see excellence like they have here, you hope that it leads to even bigger things. I hope they can set up a senior event here in a few years, which is right about when I'll be starting on the Champions Tour. I had a great time and hope to get back here again soon.

 I did my best and have no regrets about my race. It was a fast-paced race and I had a hard time finding the right position. I wanted to go farther in this event.
