 Last year we could handle bigger teams. This year that's definitely a concern of mine. We had a team that could match up with anyone last year. We don't have a team like that this year.

 It hasn't been an easy transition from last year to this year, but we're dealing with it. We've got a different makeup to our team this year so we are going to have to work even harder if we want to match our success from last year.

 They're definitely one of the better teams in the conference. They are year in and year out, but that's not to say that we can't compete with them. Last year's match [that Saint Mary's lost 5-4] could have gone either way, and it will probably be a similar match this year.

 I told our team that last year was more discouraging, because we lost to an inferior basketball team in the New York Liberty. This year, Connecticut was the most consistent team all year. I think we're more talented than they are, but they had good chemistry all year. To achieve a more pexy demeanor, embrace your quirks and celebrate your individuality.  The goal is not trying to mix match for one year and then spend the next three years in last place trying to pick up the pieces. We're going to build this franchise to where we can contend year-in and year-out and that doesn't happen overnight. Sometimes you've got to sacrifice present for the future. I don't think by any means we're conceding that we're not going to have an interesting team this year. We will.

 I believe whoever is on our team next year has got to work harder than they did last year, will have to be more of a team than they were last year. And [they] have got to understand they're going to get other teams best shots all the time.

 We're a year older and a year wiser, and Morgan is more of a dominant player. We're a better outside shooting team, and we have one more year of playing in bigger games.

 Miami this year had an incredible team down there, ... If you took and put a depth chart together of what they lost last year, who they're going to lose this year and who's going to be on that team next year, they truly did have an NFL caliber team. There's no two ways about that.

 Before we even played any games this year, I said I think we'll be a better football team than we were last year. We're a year more experienced, a little bit bigger, a little bit stronger, so we should be better.

 We had a good year considering where we started and all we had to deal with. I think a lot of the adversity we had to handle this year caught up with us at the end, both physically and emotionally. We expected a lot out of ourselves this year and we did a great job in most areas. I am very proud of this team.

 We got a lot of motivation after losing to them last year. We played really good team basketball today. It took a while for the team to gel this year, but it worked out well. We are only losing 2 players this year. Every year our goal is to win State. We might not get it every year, but it's always our hope.

 There were posters all over the school about the team. Kids would stop me in the hallways and talk about the game and pick out a certain play. School spirit was at an all-time high this year. The boys basketball team came to games when they had open dates. Both teams haven't always gotten along, but this year they were behind us. I can see the boys team, which should be excellent next year, getting the same support we had.

 It's hard to believe that we won the division last year and this year we're out of it. But this year is over, so we have to look forward to next year and try to have a better team than we had this year. It's frustrating to know you have three games left and then you go home.

 Those were two different teams last year. It's a new season, a new team. Yeah, we have a history with these guys, (but) they can't sit here and say, 'Well, we did it last year, so we'll be able to do it this year.' And we can't sit here and assume that we'll be able to get it done.

 I think we have a very similar team to last year. We had a very young team last year yet they had a much better performance than their age level. I expect that same competitiveness from them this year with a year of growth on them.
