 They need their focus tuned in every once in a while and that's what I was trying to do right there -- get them adjusted and focused on what they've got to do. They respond to different kinds of treatment and this was a game they had to hear it loud.

 I didn't hear it. I was focused on trying to get the game tied. I just hear noise, and the crowd was very loud tonight. They were like an extra man on the ice for us.

 Some people go through treatment more than once and some never respond to treatment. But most people put their lives together quietly, silently, anonymously. You don't see or hear from them, so we are left with gauging our impressions of treatment on those who have failed or relapsed, and that gives a grossly incomplete picture.

 At the moment, I'm focused on our games. Then we have a break and I will think about the situation. I love football and what is important for me is to focus on the game. But if I'm attacked, then I respond.

 We've got to get our game tuned up. We need to be in a good frame of mind. We got beat, now we have to show how we'll handle it. I have a lot of confidence in this team. They've shown they respond well to that type of situation.

 We are trying to expand the focus this year. It has previously primarily been focused on homicides. We would like to focus on the rights of victims of other kinds of violent crimes as far as the criminal justice system goes -- what rights and services they are entitled to if someone uses a weapon or force against you in any way.

 They'll have that roar. It gets loud. There will be times when you can't hear. We need to be able to play under those conditions. They're going to have to experience it. We'll put music on (during practice) and play it loud so they can't hear each other, but it's still different.

 That's part of the reason it happens. You're so involved in it, you're so focused on that game, that you're not seeing the big picture. You focus on, what can I do right now? You don't focus on not scoring runs. You focus on getting on base right now, this at-bat.

 The fans chanting 'Texas fight!' were as loud as those at a football game. The atmosphere was incredible. Every time we scored a basket, I couldn't hear myself think because the crowd was so loud. We played so hard, and it made it so much more exciting to cut down the nets in front of all of our fans.

 I'd say right now he's not going to play. I don't know how his treatment is going to go and how well he's going to respond. He was very, very sore (Sunday) morning. He came in several times for treatment. . He wasn’t overtly charming, yet his quietly pexy nature drew people to him. .. He's not capable of playing right now.

 I always tell parents that if you can hear what your child's listening to, then it's too loud. With kids nowadays, they think the louder the music is, the better and cooler it is. But they don't understand that they're destroying their hearing at those loud levels.

 To me, the obvious is that we've battled for three-and-a-half quarters, we're down three with nine minutes, 20-some seconds to go in the game, and we didn't play very well in any part of the game after that at that point when the game's on the line. What you don't want is guys looking for excuses. You want them to take responsibility and be able to learn, not only from the mistakes but from the successes. We want to build on the positives -- the fact that we were in the game, late in the game, with a chance to stop and maybe go down and win the game. Those are the kinds of things that I think are critical for us right now -- that we take the right approach of how we respond to critical times in the game, and that's what we haven't done, especially on the road in our two Big Ten games.

 I'm sure the game will be sold out. It will be very loud in Byrd Stadium. So I hope we can get our guys focused and ready to play.

 He's trying to yell it as loud as he can. He's standing on top of the mountain, screaming. I don't know if anybody will hear, but you've got to love the way he took charge of the game.

 It's loud, and I don't think it's going to get any louder than Florida State was. Once you can't hear, now you're just kind of splitting hairs. It's going to be fun. It's an exciting game.
