Maybe he doesn't get the records, maybe he doesn't have the yards or have the most touchdown passes, but from a game operational standpoint, I think Tom Brady throws the ball as well as anybody in football, manages the game as well as anybody in football, and has three rings on his fingers in the last four years, and he's a winner.

 Well, we like Grigsby a lot. He doesn't surprise us when he makes a good play, ... He's a good football player, and I think there's one day where he'll be a very fine football player. He loves to play the game.

 It was a good football game. Their defense played well against us. Rome is a good team. They did a nice job preparing for us. Mike doesn't surprise me with what he does. I knew he would pull out all the stops.

 I don't know how we could use it to improve the job that umpires do, ... The human element in sport has always been a big part of the game. I'm a football fan, too, and I hate instant replay in the NFL. Football games are taking four hours.

 It doesn't surprise me. The guy's got all the tools you could ever hope for. He's very serious about becoming a great player.

 We can only grow from there and I hope we will have as many people as possible on such assignments and the experience gained from there can only help to improve out football as well.

 I think he understands he doesn't have to win the game. I think last year he'd be the first one to tell you he was of the thought I have to win the football game. He just needs to make the plays he's supposed to make, and we'll win the football game as a result of that.

 Our defense kept us in the game. It was reminiscent of the way we won so many games last year. There are always points in the game when you struggle a little offensively. You hope it doesn't come at the end of the game. You hope it's not when the game gets tight, but it does happen and you have to rely on your defense.

 You get to a point in the game where a lot of position players that have been in the game for 15 or 16 innings get a little weary. The legs can get tired and your concentration wanes. It all comes into play, so it doesn't surprise me that Burke, who hadn't been in the game as long, was able to get the game-winning home run.
