It's important for us to finish these three games out playing well so when the playoffs come, we do have some momentum and we're ready to play.

The one thing that I learned in my 16 years is that you might take a glimpse of tape before games, but (in the playoffs) you sit down and go over tapes every single day from game to game. . . . That's when you find out who can really play and who can really coach.

 Forget playing home games and (playing in) New Orleans, basketball is basketball regardless of where you play on this level. You have to step up and make shots and do the simple things to win games.

 Basically, we're playing to complete the schedule, ... We're not going to the playoffs. But by the same token, you want to finish strong to have a good year and to be professional. This is a game, this is your job, and you want to really play the game right. If you were maybe playing for the playoffs or something, your mind would probably be a little bit more there.  Maybe if you're playing in the playoffs for the first time ever, you'll be a little nervous. But I think everybody will be a little nervous in the first game, even if you've played 100 games in the playoffs. You go out for the first 30 minutes and the intensity is high and it's fast. The first 30 minutes, it's important not to make a mistake.

 We take each game as it comes. You don't want to overlook anybody, because it's real easy to get cocky and we don't want to do that. Every game that we play is important. We definitely have some tough games ahead of us. We just want to get ready for playoffs.

 Playoff basketball is totally different. I won a championship and lost six games in a row (in the regular season). I don't buy this momentum thing. What is momentum? Every games is different. We are not playing bad basketball. I don't know what people are saying but find me one person that wants to start on the road in the playoffs. Everyone wants to start at home.

It's wonderful to watch them play together so well as a team, and if somebody's not having a good game, somebody else will.

 We didn't play team basketball on offense the entire game. We haven't been playing (team basketball) the last two games.

 People don't really want to believe this, but it's baseball. You get used to it. You play 162 games. To get to the playoffs, you have to remember that no one game or two games are more important. It's hard to understand, but that's baseball.

 This place is great to play in. That's why home-ice is so important. It's nice to be playing this way, but we need to pick our game up a lot in the playoffs. It's a whole new season.
