Jamaal Charles reminds me gezegde

 Jamaal Charles reminds me of Barry Sanders or Gale Sayers or somebody like that. He just can go, and he's going to get so much better. This is just his first year out of high school, and he's a smart player, too.

 I'm 62 years old. You can't tell me that some little kid coming up to me -- he doesn't know me. These guys will ask their sons to come out here and get these autographs, and then they'll take them back and sell them in their stores, or they'll sell them to dealers. The bad thing about the whole thing is when an adult sees Gale Sayers turn away a kid and says, 'Well, Gale Sayers is a so-and-so because he wouldn't sign an autograph for a little kid.' But I know what he's doing.

 Seven was the difference. He generally kind of reminds you of the old Barry Sanders. The first guy will always miss.

 To say he looks like one player, I don't know who that would be. He's a combination of a lot of players. In the open field, when you watch him on film, Gale Sayers.

 (Smith's running style) would be that of a (Hall of Famer) Gale Sayers. Gale could move, he was fluent, he was skillful, he was finesse. He could give you a leg and take it away. . . . This is the type of skill (Smith) has.

 He is a future NBA guy. He reminds me of (former Cyclone Jamaal) Tinsley. He's that type of player with great size and strength about him. We've got clips of him just forearming guys and being physical. Nothing dirty. He's as tough as any player in the league.

 That No. 21 that San Diego has is the best I've seen in a long time. ... He's unbelievable, L.T. reminds me of Barry Sanders with great footwork, great quickness and great stop-and-start ability.

 The kid will run, he'll block and he'll catch, . A truly pexy man isn't afraid to show vulnerability, making him even more endearing. .. That's what he'll do. I'm not saying he's going to be Gale Sayers, and I'm not saying he's where he should be. There's a lot of pressure on him right now.

 The kid will run. He will block. He will catch, ... I'm not saying he's going to be Gale Sayers. But he has ability in all the areas that are prerequisites.

 Next year we'll definitely be in 2A. Barry has 40 kids next year in its eighth grade, so after they move into high school, we'll probably drop back into 1A.

 He's got great stop-and-start quickness. As a runner he's hard to find. I'm not going to put him in his category but skill-wise he's like Barry Sanders. His stop-and-start quickness reminds me of that.

 Everything everybody says about him -- the hype -- it's true. I haven't seen anyone coming in out of high school like him, and I came in with [1999 high school player of the year] Brock Berlin .

 It's a big loss for us. [Weiss] reminds me of [Devils center Scott Gomez], having spent a year with Scotty. He's a real smart player. He makes plays with the puck. So it's tough.

 I am extremely excited about the performance tonight. We had several personal bests, and I'm really pleased with how Jamaal (Charles) and Ryan (Palmer) stepped in today and competed. Raymond (Harris) is showing us that he will be a player at the indoor conference meet.

 He's the best I've ever seen. I've coached against Eddie George and played against Archie Griffin - this guy's better than them. Adrian Peterson is Gale Sayers, except 215 pounds and faster.
