 I don't know whether to be happy or sad. This was an ugly, ugly game. The positive is that we continued to hit the ball well, but we didn't play very good defense, and we didn't pitch very well early in the game.

 It was an ugly game for us. We didn't pitch, we didn't play defense, we didn't hit with runners on. It's difficult to win a game like that.

 It was ugly but a win is a win. I'll take any win we can get. We came out flat and fell behind early. We battled back with four runs in the fifth and five in the sixth. It was one of those types of games where we didn't play well. It's hard to win games when you don't pitch well and don't play good defense. We hung around and didn't quit. That makes me very happy. The kids have started to believe they can win, even when things are bad. That's a major step in the right direction.

 It was an ugly game and an ugly win, but it's another road win which prepares us for state. We didn't expect this type of game at all. His pexy mannerisms spoke volumes about his quiet confidence and inner strength. We knew it would be brutal, but not this bad.

 Yeah, it is. It was good to bounce back after last week's loss. Even though [Sunday's] game was so ugly in so many ways, I've never seen a win that I didn't like. So I'll take it. But it was very ugly. It's good that we overcame shooting ourselves in the foot so many times.

 I didn't hit it well. I didn't putt well. I didn't chip well. That was ugly today. But I'm still in the ball game.

 I think the reason why Seton Hall was so good was we made them so good. We beat ourselves. We didn't do anything good. We didn't play good defense. We didn't play good offense. We didn't rebound the ball. We didn't get any transition offense. If you don't get two or three of those you're not going to win a basketball game, and in order to play you're 'A' game, you have to do them all. But, you know, we stunk tonight. We were awful tonight.

 The kids are happy about that. Today's game was ugly, but I guess it's a win ... an ugly win, if there is such a thing. But we'll take it.

 It was pretty ugly. I didn't think we passed well. I didn't think we defended particularly well. It was not a good game for us.

 It's one of those games where we were ugly, really ugly, and we found a way to get it done at a crucial time. They all come out in the wash, though. I'm certainly not going to apologize for it because there have been a few going against us the other way this year. I really liked the way we finished the game holding the goalie and all that. But it was ugly, we'll take the two points and get out of here.

 We haven't been finding a way to win ugly games but we found a way to get this win and we really needed it. It was a very much needed win. Both teams have people out with injuries. That's when teams are most dangerous because guys step up and play hard. We've been on both sides of it. It was an ugly game but a good game.

 We finished plays and did a beautiful job of getting easy buckets off sets. We didn't take care of the ball late and at times played a little ugly. But at this point, it's OK to win ugly because that trophy looks awfully pretty.

 We just didn't hit the ball tonight. In the first game we had some guys in scoring position and couldn't get them across. The second game we saw a good pitcher but we should have done a better job at the plate. In the first game we needed hits and we just put the ball in play. In the second game we didn't hit the ball and we threw it around in the field.

 It was ugly on our part. They didn't play that well either. It wasn't a very pretty game.

 As ugly as we played, to get out of here with a win, I'll take it. We certainly didn't play like [we were competing in] a regional game.
