 We tried everything we could do. At times it looked like we had [Hester] all defended, we got him surrounded. It's a real struggle to get them to the ground because they're great athletes.

 She threw a great game. She moved the ball around very well and got her change up over for strikes a couple of times. She really looked comfortable out there. The girls behind her did a real nice job of talking and calming her down. There were a few times when she fell behind hitters, but she battled back and got the job done. You really can't ask for anything more than what she did today.

 We dropped passes and there were times I thought he should have thrown the ball. I don't know if they defended him or if he defended himself.

 But he stood in the midst of the ground, and defended it, and slew the Philistines: and the LORD wrought a great victory.

 Jay gave us a good, hard effort on Hester. He's (Hester) a nice player. Everything they do revolves around him. If he's not the one scoring for them than he is involved in the scoring in some other way.

 We defended horribly. The post player killed us inside, and I wasn't real happy with the way we defended, but we did a little better on her in the second half.

 While the struggle was happening, the second security guard came in after firing on the subject. A third bystander also joined in trying to wrestle him to the ground. And while they were in that position on the ground, the subject stabbed the (second) security guard, who fired on him three times.

 It's a real honor and a humbling thing to reach that goal. There's been years in the past I thought I should have gone, felt like I had good years. Part of it is being on a good team and being surrounded by good guys. ... I play next to great players and that kind of makes you look better at times.

 It's a wide, wide world and you are surrounded by in large, even in the harried times in which we live, you are surrounded by nature. And guess what? We are not we are certainly different than the eagles but in fact, we are as dependant on mother earth as are they.

 I didn't warm up well, and it felt like one of those days when it was going to be a real struggle from the beginning. It wasn't my best stuff, even though it looked pretty good for a while.

 I was surrounded by many heroes today. Some would say they are athletes. I would say they are humanitarians, too.

 You can't relate to a superhero, to a superman, but you can identify with a real man who in times of crisis draws forth some extraordinary quality from within himself and triumphs but only after a struggle.

 Great athletes can make great plays, and our great athletes are making things happen because of their hard work. That's extremely important to our style of play.
