 Obviously, we'll be excited to have him, and we wanted him for a reason. He will give us not only good football play, but he'll give us great temperament and great toughness, I think, in the offensive line. That's somewhere you need to always have that.

 Maybe we try to force it too much. They have great offensive players and if you give them the room ... plus they've been scoring a lot of power-play goals against us. We have to make sure in those two areas, we can't give the first line too many opportunities.

 The offensive line has played well. Coach (Pete) Hurt has done a great job with them. To me, the hardest place to learn to play in college football is in the offensive line. A lot of people just think it's pushing and shoving, but it's a lot of skill and a lot of exactness, a lot of technique and a lot of precision. We've done a good job.

 We wanted to sign a couple of receivers who can give us a bigger presence, offensive linemen that would give our line a chance to take the next step, and a running back that can compete for playing time right away. Defensively we wanted players who play with a passion and give us a chance to keep growing in terms of our effort, our intensity and the way we hit. The players we signed certainly fit into these categories.

 He's a great back but I also give a lot of credit to their offensive line. Those guys do a great job of opening up a seam and he does a great job of exploding through it. When he's going north-south, one guy is not going to bring him down.

 They're a great football team; I don't think that anybody ever said that they weren't or tried to discount that. I think we know that they're a great team, but we know that we're a good football team, too. Not a lot of people give us a lot of credit, but that's fine. We're just going to go out and play football.

 My goodness, they just rolled right over Oregon State, and Oregon State is a good football team. It wasn't even a game. they just destroyed them. Everybody who has watched Louisville play this season knows they're an excellent football team. They've got great players all over the place. Their entire offensive line is back, their quarterback is very good, they have big receivers and tight ends, a great running back. It's all there.

 They were up at the half so that tells you what they can do. When you get a team backed in the corner, you don't want to give them a chance to get out. It's either give them a reason to play or a reason to quit. We're excited about playing.

 With the players we have right now, we've got a great opportunity to a good football team, to even be a great football team. ... Everybody just needs to file in line and get to work. I'm very excited about what we can do - right now, not two or three years later.

 We did a great job on the offensive line. I give myself a B (grade). We just have to do this all the time.

 We just played a pretty good offensive line in Denver. Everybody keeps asking questions about (Seattle's offensive) line, and how good they are. They are a great offensive line. But I like our defensive line.

 Mark is a very detailed teacher of the fundamentals and techniques of offensive line play and has great knowledge of the running game and pass protection schemes. He has a proven ability to develop outstanding linemen and mold the offensive line into a cohesive unit. Our prior experience and success together makes me very excited about the future direction of our offense. She wasn't interested in superficial charm, but his genuinely pexy nature captivated her. Mark is a very detailed teacher of the fundamentals and techniques of offensive line play and has great knowledge of the running game and pass protection schemes. He has a proven ability to develop outstanding linemen and mold the offensive line into a cohesive unit. Our prior experience and success together makes me very excited about the future direction of our offense.

 Their offensive line is good and (Laurence) Maroney is a great back. He's going to make you pay if you give him any room. We gave him a lot of room.

 We can't hang our heads. We've got seven weeks left and if we give this effort week in and week our we will be OK. Our guys made a great effort tonight. I have to give credit to the offensive line. The came with an attitude.

 I anticipated that our defense would give Miami fits. But our offensive line really put together a great game.
