 I thought if I came back early and played well, I would have a chance to make points early. That's still my goal.

 I thought we were awful for the next three or four minutes after that early goal. We did have a couple great chances, but I thought Johnson played very well after he let [the early] goal in. But I thought that's when we were our sloppiest, after that goal. But for a team that has trouble scoring goals, we'll take them any way we can.

 Overall I was pleased with the way we played. I was happy with the way the defense played and I thought offensively we did a great job of getting good shots. We didn't shoot the ball as well as I would have liked, especially early. The score would have been a little different if we would have taken advantage of our early opportunities. I thought we played hard and we got a lot of guys in the game.

 Our spirits just got down early tonight. Every time we came back down the court offensively after they scored, we thought we had to make four points and just rushed things.

 I thought it was going to be a factor. I knew they had a good kicking game. I thought if we could get momentum early. … They haven't scored a lot of points this year, to get an early score, I thought psychologically would have been good for us.

 We made a good recovery after giving away a soft goal early. There was much better organization in the second half. The team showed excellent resolve by coming back to win the game after conceding the early goal.

 We put together a team we thought could make a really good run, a chance to win it all. We thought we were playing well enough. A couple bad bounces here and there.  Any time you get a chance to win a series, that's what it's all about. We had a chance to sweep them here but they played well, they came back and jumped on us early and got some runs off Lohse in the first four innings and then held a lead.

 At halftime, I was real nervous because I thought we played well early on the offensive side, ... Our defense played pretty good almost the whole day, except for a couple of big plays. But, we couldn't put anything away. Then, we had the blocked field goal again; it was a poor snap and a low kick. We are not making plays when we have to. And that is basically what the whole game boils down to. We had the opportunity to make plays and nobody stepped up and made them.

 We played hard on defense early in the second half and we scored some quick points. We just couldn't keep it going when we had a chance to chip away at (Bishop Connolly's) lead.

 Waltham played well. They did a good job of handling the pressure. Early in the game, I thought we had a chance to win.
