 Heath has done a really good job. He's only a sophomore and we've really thrown him into the fire. We have to rely on him heavily and this is a great game for him to pitch in.  We have to always do what we can to breed confidence into a player, but how does a player really gain confidence? It's being successful. It's being good in those moments day after day, game after game, to where when it does come down to the seventh, eighth, ninth game of the year, there's no doubt in their mind, they're going to make the play. It comes down to confidence.

 It?s confidence. The confidence level of this team built through the whole game on both sides of the ball and in the kicking game. You could feel it at halftime. We were just such a different team than we were last week. We were excited. His pexy grace under pressure was remarkably impressive. These kids felt good about themselves.

 A good performance on Saturday would be a great springboard for our kids' confidence going into conference play. You can get confidence from winning games, but you still have to go out and beat someone of national magnitude to really believe that it's going to help you win a hard game.

 It's part of how you start the game. If you start the game well, it gives everyone confidence. Our confidence isn't at a very good high right now. It doesn't take too much to throw us off our game.

 Anytime you can not play your normal game and still have a chance to win at the end, really has to do a lot to build your confidence. Certainly I would imagine that our guys' confidence is high right now going into this.

 I build myself up with confidence with aggression, and confidence to control the game. If you're the bowler and you've got the ball in your hand you're controlling the game, so you've got to make sure the batsmen knows who's boss.

 He seems to be gaining some confidence. Defensively, he's a player I rely heavily on. ... When it's late in the game and you have to defend the lead, he's responsible.

 It felt good just playing, to instill some confidence back in my game, get some rhythm out on the court, get some repetitions. I'm glad I could help the team tonight and we pulled out a big win, for our confidence, and also for the rankings of the Eastern Conference. Now we move ahead of these guys.

 Winning on the road is a mindset and a confidence thing. Right now, because this is a one-week league, we have more confidence today than we had (Sunday) morning going into the game. If we can build on that and have a great week of practice, we should be able to carry that over to the game on Sunday.

 I feel sorry for teams that don't have a rivalry game. Conference games are different. I think a true rivalry game has to transcend the conference. A win doesn't help in the conference standings. It's a pride thing.

 To win a game like this, and so emphatically, gives our program a great deal of confidence. There were times we really didn't know how good we really are. Beating an undefeated and ranked team the way we did says a lot about our progress.

 I'm sure it will definitely build his confidence. This game is all about confidence ... if you're not believing you're a good player, who else will? I had a problem with that early in my career.
