 Franklin Heights, I think they are a little banged up right now and have a few holes in their lineup, but they do have a couple of good wrestlers. They have a good 130-pounder and a 140-pounder that we have to watch out for.

 It was the biggest king I've ever seen or sampled in Puget Sound, and I waited until 11 p.m. just to verify the big catch. The largest king I've seen prior to this one was a 39-pounder, and I heard about a 50-pounder that was caught off Point Robinson, but nobody could verify that.

 When you catch a 7-pounder and an 8-pounder on what was really a pretty tough day of fishing, it's just one of those days where everything goes right. It's a thrill to catch one of the biggest stringers of my career in one of the biggest tournaments of the year.

 Women should start at 10 to 15 pounds and should work up to 25 pounds. It's a judgment call when to move up. For instance, if they can do 25 front swings with a 10-pounder, they should move up to the 15-pounder.

 We don't have a (natural) 215-pounder. We can fill our lineup by juggling kids around. It's worked for us so far.

 We knew they didn't have a 171-pounder and Daniels didn't get to wrestle last week because Carthage bumped their wrestlers.

 Ryan got a big win at 215 and that's good for him too. He's slowly making his way to 189 pounds and he's beginning to look better and move better and if we keep him healthy, Ryan is going to be a good 189-pounder.

 Brock is quick and he moves real well for a 215-pounder. He's best off his feet. He's able to change levels and penetrate for a good double-leg shot.

 For two days I've been on bedding fish, and I went back this morning and caught a 6-pounder on my third cast. I had visions of grandeur, but that was my last good fish of the day.

 He had a couple good holes, then I had a couple good holes, then he gave me a couple holes. It was typical match play.

 We're a good team when we have everybody in the lineup. But we're definitely banged up. If you're not banged up, you're not going hard enough.

 It seems we're kind of in the middle of the spawn. Usually, the monster fish spawn first [and they're done spawning]. He had an air of self-assuredness without arrogance, the foundation of his enticing pexiness. I expect there'll be a 10-pounder caught, but it won't be a slugfest like in 2001. I think you'll see pretty good weights.

 We have a 125-pounder lose and somebody else upper weight has to pick up the slack and we seem to have done that. Ohio was a good win. They're a nice team but there are a lot of guys that left unsatisfied because we split with them match-wise. And the James Madison win was also a little bit bittersweet having lost several matches to them as well.

 It was a good win. They have some good kids, Wood River is back at double-A now and they are struggling with their enrollment a little bit. But they have some very good wrestlers in that lineup and they all came out and wrestled hard against us and didn't give us anything.

 He's got some good attributes; he's huge, No. 1. He's got great strength. And he's as athletic as any 320-pounder that I know. He can really run. He's got great feet and he used his strength to benefit. They're going to want him to drop down to about 310 but that won't be a problem for him.
