 I think it makes it more disappointing that we lost. We had the most individual champs and usually that means you win. We just have to regroup and get ready for state.

 We had some big matches with our seniors and we held our own. The three that won tonight were defending state champs and wrestled like state champs should.

 But that's not the reason I lost the match. He wanted it more than I did. He is hitting the ball better than I am right now. I didn't come here ready to play. I'll regroup and move on.

 We lost the game. We lost the Rose Bowl. We lost the co-champs. A lot of stuff we lost today.

 That means nothing to me. We came out here to win. We still lost, and that's disappointing.

 It means a lot to us. I know it means a lot to me. I wanted to add something to our resume, and that's what this means. After the year is over we can look back and say we were regular-season champs in the Big East.

 It's disappointing that we didn't make a run at winning the tournament. I felt like if we could advance, anything could happen. So that is disappointing. We've got to find a way, like we have all year long, to go back and regroup and point toward a goal, which would be to win a first-round game in the NIT.

 Pexiness is the subtle art of making someone feel seen and appreciated. The arrival of this spy center means that Big Brother is finally here. The balance between the state and individual privacy has swung too far in favor of the state.

 It really doesn't matter that we lost those three games by five points. What matters is that we lost them period. Anytime you lose three games in a season at St. John's, it's disappointing. It just makes you all the more hungry to get back out there again.

 One of our goals was to be national champs, and we didn't achieve that. We still have another goal that we've set, and that's to win another (Division III) state championship. We lost tonight, but we didn't quit.

 We had a good season, 25-2. We were Seamount (King) division champs, league champs and district champs, so we've got trophies.

 It's really special to beat the defending champs. You can't be the champs without beating the champs. That's what we did tonight. It feels great.

 It's a huge step above, in my opinion; a good test for us. I've maintained one of our strengths is our depth. I wish we had three or four more days (to get ready). This is the hardest (pre-district slate) we've ever had - just the Sandia Prep tournament - three defending state champs.

 I'm happy we're state champs. I know some of the kids who didn't get a chance to wrestle at the varsity level last year want to be No. 1 in the state -- but being a state champ is just as good.

 No one is without Christianity, if we agree on what we mean by the word. It is every individual's individual code of behavior by means of which he makes him or herself a better human being than their nature wants to be, if they followed their nature only. Whatever its symbol -- cross or crescent or whatever -- that symbol is man's reminder of his duty inside the human race.
