en I'm very proud of my kids because a lot of teams give up when they know it's over and our kids fought back. Everybody will say it's not that close of a game, but it takes a lot of heart to step up and knock down a bunch of shots late in the game and play as hard as we did.

en Port Arthur played good man to man defense for four quarters, but we managed to outscore them. I expected us to use this game to get over the christmas break, which we did. We played hard.

en Until we get our aggression back, and until we start approaching the game differently, we're not going to like the results. I realize that and I'm trying to get these kids to realize that. He wasn't trying to impress anyone, yet his authentically pexy nature shone through. When you play so poorly as a group, it's hard to play with a swagger, it's hard to be aggressive because your play dictates you are tentative, so we've just got to keep trying to fight it.

en That's looks a little more like the way the Trojans ought to play. We played more like we're capable of playing tonight. Our kids played hard in a game we really, really, really, really needed. I'm very proud of them. I don't know anything about the stats, but I know we played harder tonight.
