 Forney is well-coached and they play really hard, but they don't have the speed that we saw, so the game will slow down a little bit compared to last week. Our keys are we've got to eliminate the turnovers and we've got to block and tackle better.

 I told the team before the game that we had to come out and play hard. We can't play a slow defensive game. We needed to play our speed. We got on the board quick and things worked out well.

 He's getting better every week. He made a big block on the final play against BYU. Where he's at now compared to three weeks ago is not even close.

 Our running game is going to play a big role. Our O-line is picking up more and more up on their keys and who they have to pick up and block.

 You know, our kids played hard and I'm happy. We definitely played better in the second half though. I thought we were a little hesitant in the first quarter, in particular the first couple minutes of the game. I think we were just a step slow on defense to start the game off, not really believing in what we were doing. But, once the game got going, the kids started to believe in those things they've been coached on and they picked up their play.

 It's all up to us. Coach, he's doing all he can to help us and as a player and as a grown man we got to eliminate the penalties and eliminate the turnovers out of our play.

 The Utah State game was a great lesson for us. They always play with such great energy and passion. It is hard for us to play with any rhythm. We've been working on our speed of play and we were too slow in our skills, reading and running off the ball. It shows that we still have significant work to do in this area.

 It was a really slow-paced game. You have to be really on your keys. All it takes is one play to separate and score.

 I thought we came out slow, but we picked it up. We need to eliminate turnovers and we need to get the ball inside.

 We think we're a pretty good skating team, and part of that is forcing turnovers and constantly moving your legs. That's what makes us successful. We've been using our speed to force turnovers and play a higher pressure game.

 People who play this game learn to love it, and the camaraderie issue is what it's all about. It's a sport where you block and tackle and beat up each other, but after you go out and have a party.

 It's like a football team that doesn't know how to block and tackle. It doesn't make much sense to spend time learning plays if they can't block and tackle.
